So ever since the 1st of December, I have had a constant problem with constantly getting kicked in the middle of my stream on MFC. The first day it didn't bother me so much because I thought everything would go back to normal but now i'm livid. This has been happening for 11 days straight now. I have contacted support and done everything they have told me to do as well as trying to fix whatever else it might be. I have cleared the DNS cache on command prompt, reset my modem numerous times, updated any driver i could find that needed to be updated, windows updates, restarting laptop, using an ethernet cord instead of wi-fi, cleared my cache, cookies and history on chrome and changed my DNS server to cloudflare DNS. None of this has helped what so ever. Also, it's not my internet that's the issue because every other site i go to works fine, watching videos, visiting MFC, watching movies etc. None of that is a problem. It's only when i'm broadcasting. I can view the MFC site fine, watch other rooms, log in and check emails with no issues. As soon as i broadcast, it will randomly kick me off from MFC, it happens the most when i'm either getting tipped or traffic is coming in. It still happens when my room is quiet but i have noticed it happening constantly when tipped or traffic comes in. It acts like my room is going into sensory overload and just kicks me offline because there's too much going on. Then what happens is it will disconnect me from my whole internet and take several minutes to reconnect me to the internet. This happens every single time i'm booted, which has probably happened 100x now in the past 11 days. No i'm not over reacting. I'm staring to wonder if my ISP is blocking MFC? But then I thought if they were going to block MFC wouldn't I not be able to even visit the site either? I have no issues logging in or viewing other models rooms, visiting the site but when i'm streaming is when all of this crazyness happens. I contacted support asking them if it's possible for ISP's to block cam sites or models. They said they haven't had any issues with this. I have even tried googling any other issues with streamers having this issue. Couldn't find a thing. Does anyone know what might be going on. I need to fix this issue so I can work again without tech issues.

Sometimes, reverse DNS is necessary for bi-directional communication and I'm wondering if something changed on either your router (assuming you are getting a dynamic IP from your router), or an update applied to your computer that either is stripping certain DNS records?

One option you can do is attempt to set your DNS servers either on yoru router, or on your computer itself:

I switched my Dns to cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and seem to be having the same issue. I'm not sure what bi-directional communication is or dynamic IP. I'm not very tech savvy. I didn't do anything different or change anything on my laptop though. When i'm logged into the Mfc profile page that works fine. Things start acting up when i'm on the broadcast page. I also noticed i don't even have to be broadcasting, even if i'm just pm'ing a member on the broadcast page it automatically boots me and disconnects me from my internet for several minutes. Thanks for the reply!

Bi-directional is TCP/IP communication, meaning it sends a packet and waits for a cofirmation it's been sent. The alternative, UDP, just broadcasts it like TV/Radio, and doesn't care if anyone receives it. As mentioned previous, if there is a break in the return DNS resolution, it will cause issues. not all applications require reverse DNS to be working. However, I'm not familiar with MFC's broadcasting specifics.

Sometimes there's updates to programs such as firewalls, or other things which may cause it. If you're a model, I'd recommend reaching out to MFC support for more specific help, even though they've already provided some guidance. FYI, if you haven't done so, there was an updated to flash over the past week or so.

Why would this be happening now out of the blue? I've been camming for over 6 years and have never had this problem. Is it possible that i'm being throttled as well? With net neutrality becoming a thing of the past it wouldn't surprise me if my ISP is causing this or if they are starting to ban cam sites or porn sites. But I think if mfc was banned or blocked i wouldn't be able to visit the site at all let alone log in. I think it has to do with too many things happening at once in my broadcast and something had to have changed for everything to go out of whack and not be able to handle everything happening in the room. For example the tipping, traffic etc. I seem to be the only one experiencing this issue though. MFC won't help me any further because they claim everything is working on their end, they just continue telling me to do the same things on repeat that i've already done that aren't helping. They mentioned contacting my ISP but it's time consuming for me.

It's the internet, or "The Wild West" so to speak. There's so many variables out there such as DNS issues, DoS attacks, provider issues, etc. All I can really offer is what I have as a start. From there, you'll need to do a process of elimination because the variables are endless.

Do you have another device you can test with, just to see if it's device specific?
Even if it's just your smart phone in airplane mode connected to your wifi.

Do a trace route when the issue is and isn't happening.
Look to see if your getting a drop somewhere along the way.

Are you sharing your internet connection with anyone else?

I am thinking it might be a Ddos because it seems to only boot me at specific times, even though it still happens randomly it mostly happens when i'm getting tipped or getting traffic in my room. I'm wondering how anyone would have got my IP though because every time i log in to Mfc i block my location and i have never clicked on any links that i can remember. I'm just now learning about all of this the past week. Didn't even know what a ddos attack was until this week. Where do i go from there though, do i need to call my ISP and request a brand new IP? I think it also be my Isp blocking my bandwidth or kicking me when things start picking up in my room.

That's a good idea, I do have a spare laptop for emergencies but i forgot about it because it's stashed away. I guess if nothing happens on there i'll know it's my device. If the same things happen i'll assume it's one of the other issues. The thing is i get dropped so fast so it's hard to know when to do the trace when it does happen because i can't predict when it's going to happen. Is there any other way to do one of these tests during my whole stream?

I think some models just setup a password protected show, and stream a graphic like TESTING Stream or some thing like that.

FYI some routers will log DDOS, some even have some basic DDOS protection.
That's probable the kind of thing your ISP would also be able to see / take notice.
