Hello Ladies! I have been camming for about a year now and am looking to step up my game equipment wise. I have never had an iPhone and have been using a Moto E (ugh). I want to get an iPhone for improved picture and video quality as well as space for applications and features on apps. I have the opportunity to buy a new 5s for $200... I know the 6s is far superior photo quality, but I can't afford it at $650 (I don't do contact mobile). Do you think it would be worth it to get my first iPhone, even though it's the 5s?
Thanks in advance lovelies :h:

Just so I'm not misunderstanding, you're not actually talking about camming from your phone, right? You're just interested in getting a new phone?

I think you'll like having an iPhone, whether it's the 6S or 5S. :) I just recently got the iPhone 6S. I didn't wanna get the 6S Plus because that thing is huge. I've heard that its size makes it very difficult for a person to use it one-handed. I'm a pink fanatic, so I got the iPhone 6S in the color Rose Gold with a pink Lifeproof phone case. Prior to that, I had the blue iPhone 5C.

And while we're at it, here's a list of smartphone apps to check out that you can use to earn some money (This is a great blog):

Ah thank you so much for the response. No, not planning on camming with the phone ^.^ I need something more suited to the apps I use (Twitter, snapchat, PayToo, etc) as well as with a decent camera. The phone I have now doesn't even have a front facing camera o_O I'm mostly concerned that the picture quality on the 5s won't be worth it...

I will check out the apps, thanks again!

My husband had the iPhone 6 plus, he loved it but then after about 6 months it's started giving him problems and so he switched and got the Galaxy note and said he'll never go back to an iPhone again.

I just found this YouTube video, and almost everyone in the comments section said they didn't even see any difference between the 5S camera quality and the 6 Plus camera quality. LOL. And the guy who did the video is a cutie. :)

Sorry, I just realized you're posting about the 6S, and I posted a video about the 6 Plus. Lol. I like watching YouTube reviews about these kind of things, and reading other people's comments.

I currently have a 5S and just passed two years with it! It still runs like a champ. The picture quality is still very well on the 5S. This is the only model iPhone I've had that has lasted this long without any problems even with all the constant updates. I have a 16G and don't think I will be upgrading to a new phone or more gigs unless this one goes out on me.

I currently use my iPhone 6 to take all of the pictures I use for my content (twitter & instagram). It's great because there's plenty of photo editing apps out there to make your pictures look even better than just the unedited shot. I recommend apps like Square Fit for cropping/borders/unique layouts, Layout (an app made by + supported by Instagram) to create collages, and paid apps like Darkroom for additional filters + editing options.

I want to go out and get myself a new iTouch (the newer ones with the 32GB is around $200 right now I think) in order to use strictly for camming so I can keep my work pictures and social media separate from my personal phone. The new iTouches have front- and back-facing HD cameras and you can download texting/call apps like Kik and Google Voice to make it as close as possible to an iPhone. Having an iTouch linked to your email for camming will allow you to play games like Words with Friends or Evil Apples with your members, too, which I think fosters that "we actually are real people!" vibe lol

TL;DR: I'm an Apple user through and through and I think you'd be really happy upgrading to any of the Apple products for work. :)

I currently have a 5s and a 6s Plus. The 6s Plus definitely huge on the first day but you get used to after a couple days. Also the phone has features that make it easier to navigate because Apple knows the phone is so big. My 5s still works perfectly fine although no camera I ever had can beat my 6s Plus camera. I swear it's HD.
