Never heard of it before, but I'm intrigued

iFriends has been around for YEARS. Like, before 2003 I believe.

Yeah, iFriends has been around for a while. I used to cam on there.

I've never used it, but I would think that if it was a great site with an insane payout that more of us would be listing it as one of our other sites.

I thought I read something from a girl here, who I can't remember now, that said it was a crappy place.

I've cammed on and off there for almost 3 years now.

They do offer 100% payout if you recruit a new member to the site, and that member signs up using a special link they give to you. If you do that, apparently you will get 100% of the money that person spends on you. I have never recruited anyone to the site so I cannot say if it is as simple as they make it out to be. Everything else is paid out at 50%, you set the per minute price you want to charge between 1.49-9.99 a minute.

Yeah, iFriends was pretty much the first network site, ever. It does offer 100% payout, but it is a lot harder to recruit guys to sign up with your link at iFriends then say, Streamate, where you get 75% with your link. iFriends "claims" (free) membership, but they actually have in very, very fine print that the "free" membership has a
recurring charge of 6.95 every month.

They also do not offer you 50% if you are not "exclusive" there, and they get hit with chargebacks pretty damn hard. iFriends is definitely not the awesomeness it used to be.

The whole free chat vs. paid chat thing was a pain in the ass for me. I remember choosing the 'pay-per-minute' option (I always made sure to choose this, because I wanted to avoid free chat), yet it would still have me in free chat. I ended up giving one guy a free 30-minute show once because when I had selected the paid chat mode, it actually had me in free chat. :angry4:

They now have a "party chat", so you start in free chat but multiple people can come into the private session with you. It's nice when it actually happens because the pay per minute rate you decide is the same for everyone watching, so it can work out to quite a bit sometimes, but most guys just wine about how they don't want other people there, they like it better just the 2 of you.

Sounds like an expensive group, the whole point of a private is that it is private.

Hi there! Hope you girls don't mind that I have registered here to help answer your questions :)

iFriends has been around since 1998 as one of the first live cam communities. We do have a 100% payout program for models. For every *new* member you refer to iFriends through your 100% link, you will receive 100% of every penny they spend with you. This includes live cam sessions, FanClub membership fees, tips, etc...

Our base payout is 50%, and exclusivity is not required. You can cam on multiple platforms and enjoy multiple revenue streams, provided you are attentive to your iFriends members and do not direct them to another platform.

If you are concerned with charge backs, we have a program that offers a flat 35% payout in which iFriends absorbs all charge backs, refunds, and fraud.

We also have a Weekly Bonus Program for our top 20 models. You can read about those additional payouts here: iFriends Weekly Bonus Program

Hope this info helps! Have a great weekend!

About 5 years ago a model invited me to join iFriends. She said it was free (she probably was not aware), the join form didn't say anything about any membership... but the $6.95/mo was there. As it was a small amount, I only noticed it 6 months later when I saw multiple charges from WPI on my credit card. A quick Google search reaveled it was from iFriends. As they called, hidden fees.

Back then, there was no button to cancel the membership. Maybe to not be clear that you were paying for a membership. I had to send a message asking them to cancel it. Since then, I've never spent another minute there.

As we have here someone who claims to be from iFriends staff, maybe he/she can tell if there is still a membership on "free" joins.

Hi MyCamGirl! I'm sorry about the negative experience you had with iFriends. iFriends offers both free and paid memberships, which are displayed during sign-up. You can always change your membership type, or cancel, at any time through the website, our toll-free number, or via our live chat support. Please see screenshot :)
