Did it take your mind off of things, or did it just make you more anxious?

Sometimes it was a great distraction, other times it was clear that I was in a rough spot, and would make things worse. Really it was always a toss-up. I've noticed that if I'm having a bad day, I'll put more weight on how successful a shift is. If it's great, it alleviates my shitty day. If it's bad, it ends up making it way way worse.

If I'm in a bad mood going into a cam session it goes two ways. If a lot of regulars start chatting or I get a couple of tips my mood changes completely. If on the other hand I'm struggling to get people to chat then my mood gets worse and I normally feel myself getting agitated and moody so it's time for me to log off.

A model in a very very bad mood can be so interesting, but it can lead anywhere. Member reactions to your mood will tend to be extreme rather than moderate.... Very helpful or very hurtful to that mood, even for those who empathize.

I particularly enjoy when a model gets vicious with the worst of us (members/ basics/ guest) on one side of the mood spectrum, on the other it can be quite liberating to see someone so beautiful, strong and seemingly perfect be vulnerable/ angry/ sad/ honest.
Personally, when I see a model I like in a bad mood this always feels like an opportunity to have a really memorable time on. Sharing a bad mood turning feels amazing. Alternatively seeing how she deals with it, should it get worse, is fascinating, no matter how bad I feel for her.

I mostly just wanted to comment on situations where it all goes wrong, your mood is worse after camming. It doesn't mean that you have lost all support for what you feel. Not everyone was out to make your mood worse, some will try but can't help, some wont have the emotional energy, and some were just shut out, frozen by your curious behavior.
Keep in mind those that did want to upset you further, for them it was a game to test your vulnerability, one that you can win by from what you will learn from it. It doesn't mean to be less vulnerable, only to understand the ways in which you are.

Since we work with a group, getting on cam always makes me feel better. I just enjoy the time with my friends and focus on the show which helps me forget about my problems for a short time.

In my experience with models coming online in a bad mood, if they get a lot of activity and tips it helps the mood. If it is slow, it makes it worse. Its kind of like any other time they come online, but the extremes are amplified

Agreed! perfectly said

Depends on how bad my mood is, but it seems like when you go online in a bad mood people get that vibe off of you and don't want to hang out. It can be a great escape for me when I'm feeling a little off, but when I'm in a really bad mood people can definitely tell. Sometimes regulars can tell you aren't doing well and will go crazy and tip you lots to bring up your spirits, but that's rare.

Overall if I'm in a really bad mood I find it really difficult and exhausting to try to keep a smile on my face, especially if the room is slow.

I try to calm myself down first and not go on cam when I'm in bad mood. I watch funny videos, do yoga, go for a walk, etc. then go on because you never know if you will get a slow or rude room and end up feeling 10x worse.

I have realized if im in a bad mood I better either find a way to put a smile on my face or not cam that night. My nights are usually slow so like was said above, it tends to get amplified :p

If you're in a bad mood, it's better to stay off the cam! It's not going to do you, your regulars, or your earnings any favors. That's when you should take time to figure out what's wrong and make yourself feel better whether by meditating, doing yoga, going to the spa, etc. I'm a true believer that whatever you put out on cam will come back to you. If you go on exuberant and happy, then you will have an awesome time. But if you go on stressed out or angry, then you will have a lousy time on cam. I've seen girls cry and have break downs on cam, and it rarely lead to anything good.
