If I have blocked my state blocked will "guests" from my state still be able to see me?

I can't seem to find the answer to this. Forgive me if this post belongs in models only section. I haven't been approved yet.

Guests will not be able to see you.

As others have said, guests will be blocked.

As an aside, here in Australia the state block works great until someone is on 3G, 4G or some other fancy mobile data do dad. I guess it picks up a national IP then? Because they can still view me. I've tried it out a few times with a friend.

Can someone give me a proper techie explaination? And for interests sake, is it the same in the US?

Similar, yes. Depends on which server the phone connects to. My brother's 3G connects to one outside of our state so he would be able to. (if he was on mfc of course)

If I use my 3G connection on phone, I usually get an ip address located physically close to me. When I use the 4G connection it is always gives me an ip address outside of my state. Technical reasons for this can be many, but mainly you will get ip addresses close to where the ISP's servers you are connecting to the internet from are located. These they can have spread out to many places to share the loads.

You are assigned an IP address by your ISP when you connect to the internet. If you are on cable or ADSL, it normally is the same. With mobile broadband it can be different (I havent checked) each time you connect to the internet.

Just me gave a good explanation, if you move about you probably connect to a different tower and they assign you a different ip address.

Anybody of any membership level from any state is able to see you, no matter what your settings. The region block just makes it a little bit harder for most people (guests included) located in those those specified states to see you.
