and do you think it was a good idea for a company to put people in this situation? I am torn, I think it was interesting, maybe a little a funny but with the way things are in the world is this this best idea for an ad campaign?

I saw this the other day and admit I LOL'd, but yeh also thought if that was me id prolly be pissed! What a stressful situation to be put in lol

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of practical jokes. I remember years ago, Johnny Carson showed some bits from foreign TV shows. One of them was a kind of "Candid Camera" in Egypt. The bit was... a man on the street... suddenly another man runs up and hands the first man (the victim of the prank) a briefcase then takes off running like hell was on his heels. The reactions from the victim was the humor.

I might have panicked a bit. I tend to get a bit paranoid at times anyhow even without having some reason on which to build that paranoia. Going by the comment NIVEA posted to someone's concerns on that YouTube video, I feel like all things considered that they did a decent job of making sure this ad campaign didn't get too far out of control.

Sorry. Didn't find any humor in that at all. Pretty much just cruel.

Agree. Making someone feel fear and extreme discomfort is really a form of assault. And yeah, the possibility of some "hero" deciding to assault the victim is scary.

If all that happened was that I wouldn't be freaked out at all, if cops showed up and pulled me away for questioning too i'd be more stressed and angry that I was going to miss my flight more than anything. They'd be lucky for me to even notice because I have my iPod on and my nose in a book when I travel anyway.

I don't think I would get stressed... it is too obvious a set up. From the pics in your current clothes on "today's" magazine, coupled with "wanted on the run for 24 hours" showing on the news (despite showing presently clothed picture and describing exactly what you are wearing now...) and a lack of call on my mobile by my parents to tell me to turn myself in, the high profile nature of alerts via TV and it being little old "me"... too many things are wrong if you just think.

I may panic for about 5 seconds before I'd have noticed the inconsistencies and realised the wind up.

At least I think I would :p

I totally lol'ed when I saw that, peoples expressions and that but as a have slightly mischievous tendencies and some T.V pranks make me roar with laughter at how evil someone has been to have thought up those whole operations. I don't think I'd feel stressed. More puzzled.

I would not enjoy this. I was thinking along the same lines as southsamurai. I'm all for being able to laugh at yourself but not when someone puts me in danger.

It is always funny until someone gets hurt.

I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. I would go f'n nuts once the the joke had been revealed. Don't do it.

Thought it was funny till the cops showed up....oh wait.....
