I thought that was the reason all those models have listed 108 as their age on their profile.Yup, or they have 4 birthdays in one year! lol
I've won several of those, even without buying 100s of tickets. One word. Raffle.
Oh yeah, I'm not saying it's always rigged. I'm just saying...well, I'm not really sure. Maybe I've been hanging out in the lounge too much.I've won several of those, even without buying 100s of tickets.
Have PM chats in archive from a few other places, that would reflect this sentiment.
Was recently catching up with a Slovak model I have known for many years, who always warns me off spending on models only interested in taking advantage.
Over the years you often get similar warnings from a variety of places and models. It's always a reflection of their own attitude/ part of the world, even though offered out of kindness/ sympathy. Most of the time for many models, 'users' are not human, nor do we act like we want to be.
One word. Raffle.
I know you are joking (pretty sure anyways), but this touches on an important point.
Now I know what I am about to share doesn't apply to ALL cam models. It is just a tiny slice of a broader spectrum of behaviors and attitudes. So I hope people don't feel like they need to get all defensive.
This was related to me by a studio model from near Belarus. I have no idea to what extent the views I am going to describe might exist in independent cam models, or models from other regions.
She was telling me about finding true love. Turns out it was one of her sweet talking non-tippers, never spent a dime on her on the sites. The subject came up after I asked her if the guy she was marrying was a particular individual who had tipped her handsomely and desperately tried to win her hand. She was appalled by the idea of meeting, or getting involved with, anyone who had given her money.
Over the course of the conversation that followed, she explained to me that tippers were viewed with utter contempt (just in her environment, mind you). Losers. Jackasses. Rubes to be fleeced. Lie to them, swindle them, lead them on...they deserved no more consideration than cattle one might herd towards a slaughterhouse. Tippers were not human.
I am a big fan of honesty, but that conversation was a little more candor than I was expecting. Very eye-opening; downright shocking, considering how charming and adorable her on-cam persona was.
Anyways, something to keep in the back of one's mind when they (or at least some of them) go to batting those eyelashes.
I've spent time with SO many camgirls and this is a tone I've never ever heard from anyone! I'm limited to having only interacted with western independent models so maybe that's the difference. Aside from maybe a small gripe about an individual members particular actions maybe bothering them, the overall tone I've always gotten was of great respect and gratitude.I know you are joking (pretty sure anyways), but this touches on an important point.

That's what I think.Sad to see models have no empathy towards their customers. But this isnt a rare occurrence with sex workers. Especially with workers who got in this industry for the wrong reasons. Maybe it's a way to make themselves feel better?

you're trying to tell me that you've had more than one model tell you specifically that they think all tippers are all whatever long list of insults JJTP wrote... I'm finding this extremely hard to believe. I don't discredit that you likely have witnessed what you perceived as this attitude but telling you specifically they feel this way?I see it happen evenly between models in all regions. There are many angry or self-destructive models.

Then again you are a SM guy and the interactions and social setting is WAYYYYYYYY different than MFC.
I'm talking about openly admitting that they think only losers are tippers, not the likely common bad attitude that can come through from a model who's a bad fit or exasperated which is often directed at everyone ESPECIALLY freeloaders. not Everyone except freeloaders.
This is specifically the line I was responding to.
Contempt for all members/men or specifically contempt only for those willing to spend money simply for spending? I feel like we may be reading the point very differently.Short answer is "yes". Misandry is thing and not a rare thing. With some western models there's this "occupy" mentality that they're at war with you the moment they declare you part the "1%". Maybe "Robin Hood" mentality would be more accurate. It tends to come out more in a one on one site like SM but it's happened on MFC and jasmine before too. You have to remember the scale we're talking here, there are hundreds of models on concurrently on most of these sites. AFC maybe represents less than .01% of all cam models and even here you have models with contempt for members.
When her grandmother dies 6 times in a year!

I don't see how the point would be hard. Some models want to scam members because they have contempt for them. I just gave examples of where that contempt stems from anger over feeling controlled by male member and where it comes from anger from what they view as selfish wealth.
It goes both ways to. There are members who just want to scam models. I think it boils down to, there are garbage people out there. And it sucks because it gives the good models a bad wrap.
I have seen such things openly expressed before.I'm a guy so I wouldn't know what they do to female members I can only speak for myself. I don't know if things are different if you're a female member, I would assume when it come to wealth the situation wouldn't change. I'm not Professor X and can't read their minds to tell you what % dislike males vs wealth.

Whoa...whoa. Maybe her Grandpa just really loves the ladies.... He might be the man at the nursing home breaking hips, hearts, and I'll stop now....
Contempt for all users is not uncommon, it starts from cam culture designed to protect young models and to help them do what they need to. JJTP inferred the dehumanizing part but the attitude that members are losers, jackasses, rubes to be fleeced is common. This makes it easy to lie to them, swindle them, lead them on etc. This does tend to place more respect on a freeloader, as they are only perverts, not idiots.you're trying to tell me that you've had more than one model tell you specifically that they think all tippers are all whatever long list of insults JJTP wrote... Yes there are members that scam but this thread isn't about that. I don't think anyone here is speaking as all members or believes all members should be held as saints. My comment were about a very specific motivation for scamming not as much as the scams themselves.
We've had the, "faking seizure for tips", and the, "Didn't get my bonus videos or skype show" or "Raffles to nowhere" threads about shady models
Just the same we've had the, "30sec rule abuse", "Fake tip messages" and "I'm a regular, it's me time all the time" threads about shady members
