I've often read that one way to help prevent your clips from being stolen/pirated is to have music playing in the background because some sites wont upload the sound on your vid then because of copyright concerns*

But what if you WANT music playing in the clip you're making to sell? Thats its an important part of your clip (like dancing to it) How do you get around this?

*this is what I've read on more than one online source, how true it is or how to test the theory I dont know

I don't do it, so I don't want to tell you how to do it and it be incorrect...but be careful when doing this in case the site doesn't allow copyright music. I've heard for instance how Streamate will soon be incorporating a way to sell videos through profile, but music isn't allowed due to copyright.

There's what's legal and there's what people do anyways. If it is just an amateur scene, especially if it is a private clip, I doubt anybody is going to notice.

In terms of being strictly legal what you are looking for is called "royalty free music". A Google search will yield some companies that sell them. Look at the Terms of Service though (a lot of them say something to the effect of no adult content).

You can get non-copywrited music.

I use this site and recommend it. My viewers love that the music is just a slight blip in the background that doesn't detract from the scene. I used the chaos and happy pop bubble songs for a vore video and it worked really well.

If you're editing through your phone, adobe offers copyright free music for their premier editor. It's the music you'll hear in my snapchat, instagram, and twitter videos.
