I wish I read this before resizing my cunt, I just used the percentage and had to keep doing it until it was under 175 x 175! Yay for paint!

I usually direct people to one of two things for image resizing;

download windows powertoys image resizer (just google it along with your windows version - winxp, win7, etc). It installs and lets you have the ability to just right click on an image (or multiple images at once) and select "resize". Very easy to use, and also shrinks file sizes to be more web friendly as well.

or

download irfanview, a small, simple image editor which can easily resize as well as let you crop and adjust images.

I've had good results using ACDSee when it comes to resizing and general touch ups, cropping and the like.
