hello, I was wondering how can I change countries on streamate because when I try to change it I only have a few options like I can change it to Great Britain, New Zealand and few more, right now I'm camming and my country says GB and I don't have a British accent so when guys ask if I'm British and I say no they leave I even said yes and they didn't believe me because of my accent, trust me a lot of them are doing that and it's so annoying, so I'm wondering if I can change it to a different country and do I need to contact streamate?

Hey, as far as i am aware you can only choose from those options they give you. I'm from germany and wanted to change it to the united states and the only option they gave me was Great Britain.
I think they had a change in policy, that certain countries/ regions only get certain countries to choose from.
Which is really annoying in my opinion since it is not a fucking dating site.

Are the choices they give you based on your location from your ID on file, or is it based on your current VPN's IP address?
Based on your location from your ID file. Even if you were american living in germany you wouldn't be able to get US as display country
