I only had a phone to stream, not so good lighting, kinda lost about apps and bots, and on top of that I am a faceless model and non explicit (I would do nude and all that, but I wouldn't explicitly show my p*ssy or a*shole on free chat for example, because that was the kind of show I was aiming for). I speak Spanish and English. I wasn't able to stream a lot of hours like now I know you are supposed to to milk your new tag. I had a lot of things going on in my life and now I see my first week as CB as a desperate move I made. By all that said, I made 250$ at my first week and got almost 1k followers and an average of 20 viewers per stream, being the most 70. Of course I would love a second opportunity with the new tag on CB but I don't think it's right to email support and tell them I think I didn't take full advantage of my new tag and I want a second chance after more than 6 months lol.
I guess now y'all wondering, well, what have you been doing all these months!? Due to my personal background I was able to stream more than 5 hours a day consistently then I would have to disappear 1 day or two or even more, translating this into inconsistent schedule. Then the country I live in was experiencing power shortages of more than 14 hours for 3 months so you can imagine already what I went through. I was able to finally move out to a new place on December, so now I have been trying to pick up things with my account.
I also want to add that this wasn't my first time doing online sex work, I previously worked on streaming apps, but it was my first time using an actual camming site.
Even tho it was kind of confusing, I was using a tip menu, goals, games like spin the wheel or roll the dize, a Domi toy and fan club at my first week and upcoming weeks. But it always was kind of dead since the first week, I guess mostly bc of my phone stream quality, audio, faceless model, etc. My room background was just me in a couch or my bed with pink walls, I didn't had much. People just coming in and out of my room, not a lot of engagement, people were rarely using my tip menu and I got most of the tips off small goals and sometimes Domi tips.
Now I managed to get a laptop and a Logitech cam, so now I'm streaming with OBS so the quality, audio and lighting improved a lot. But my traffic is still stagnant and stuck, I spend more than 6 hours with 1 or two grays at my room and no other people join :/ and ofc no tips. I have tried to change my tip menu adding new items, changed the price of items and goals and toy vibes, tried to stream at different times for consistent days(day, afternoon, night), tried different hashtags with less rooms-higher viewers but I'm always at the bottom, tried small and bigger goals, tried the promotion thing a couple of times when I had tokens to spare, I'm never quiet I'm always moving doing different positions or dancing, moving the camera to try diff angles... But the room is always dead. People just can't find me bc I'm always at the bottom and when they join they are always quiet, don't tip, no chatting, just staring or leaving.
I know it's been a combination of factors, and now that people are recovering from December and all that, but I feel it's been like that forever :/ and now I can't stand being there for more than 6 hours and barely make 1$. Idk what else I am failing at, what else can I try to improve my traffic? Thanks everyone for reading.
(Btw, I'm 22, skinny, always use lingerie or bikinis, small tops, shorts, skirts, all that kind of stuff, latina looking, nails painted, etc etc, since I have read the way you look it's a factor too, like your niche and all that).
