I have always been into photography, videography. I have worked with countless friends/models for fun. I have made a bit of money on the side with modeling videos, just having fun.
But as am wanting to do it more serious, all the channels I know of seem to be...ridiculous?
I can personally make my own videos, so I know time/value of the work. But even getting someone to sit and say hi on camera is like pulling teeth.

but am wanting to network., reach more people, and work with new creative personalities.
Any suggestions other then trash like fiverr/upwork? or other scam-ish "work for hire" sites?

You should clarify if you are a model or just a photographer/videographer, and also the type of content you shoot.

If you're a model on one of the main sites, you can verify your account here and access the advertise here section if you're looking for collabs. But here at ACF, fellow models really only give any trust/benefit of doubt to those who have established themselves as trustworthy by sharing and interacting in the models only section a LOT, so don't expect any easy access here.

For models there’s also spankchains new service to meet for colabs, and I believe JFF also runs one too.

I’m a model and producer who hires models and also does colabs, my main ways of meeting new talent has been:

Attending conventions and networking events
Being active on telegram
Contacting agents in my area and hiring from them (careful, vet the agents)
Twitter networking. Many models will have their location and your dates/locations posted.

Like anything, this takes work.. if you’re a male, and especially a male producer you’ll need to start with hiring talent most likely through an agency. Or look for self booking models on Twitter
