My name is Matteo Fagotto, I'm a journalist based in Milan, Italy, and co-founder of Tandem Reportages, a press agency focused on social stories from around the world which collaborates with several international publications. Our reportages have been published in more than one hundred media worldwide, including Playboy, TIME, Newsweek, Wired, GQ and Vanity Fair.
I'm contacting you because I will go to Romania, in approximately two-week-time, in order to do a story on the adult video chat and webcam industry. I find this new phenomenon, which is rapidly conquering the world, extremely modern, fresh and interesting, a growing sector which has revolutionized internet in the past years. I would be very much interested in knowing also how the industry has benefited Romania in economic terms and how it has affected the lives of thousands of girls.
What I would be interested about is to describe this social phenomenon and its implications by visiting studios, talking to management, trainers, girls, etc. I am not looking for a sensationalistic piece, but to describe a new trend which, despite its success, a lot of people around the world don't know about.
Because of the special nature of the story, if required, I am of course ready to protect the identities of studios and girls and guarantee the utmost discretion in terms of faces, names, personal data and any other sensitive information people might not want to reveal.
