I can’t speak to the earnings question, but I don’t think Euro 2024 is popular enough in the U.S. to seriously disrupt any other leisure or entertainment activities, such as visiting cam sites.
It has U.S. fans for sure, but it’s not as big here as it is in other countries.
I'm in the US and I just now had to use Google to even know what you were both talking about LOL

I'm not in the US and still not 100% sure what it isMe too
I have a funny feeling it's football (soccer)? but could also be European anything, just taking a guess at soccer because it's like the only thing people really make a fuss about in Europe

There is one sporting event that seems to take out the entire US viewership and that is the SuperB owl. (That is intentional syntax on my part.) The site just gets so quiet it's ridiculous.
Euro 2024 might not have much effect on US viewers because of the time of games. Copa America starts next week and that probably will have more influence on US customers because the games are in the US and the games are in the afternoon/night. That said it probably won't have much of an effect unless your whales are also soccer fans.
Don’t know if this is your experience but seems like the first long weekend of the college basketball tournament (March Madness) everything stops at work. Maybe that’s just my area (college sports are super big in my state/city)
I guess I don't notice that as much because the first of March always sucks balls. "I have to pay my taxes," is the most common refrain around that time.
Interesting thing about college sports seems to be that it only matters to alumni, people with kids at those schools and those who are betting on the games. The best thing about basketball is you really only need to watch the last 2 minutes of a game.

With crazy bets too, wouldn't surprise me there are books for how many times that one guy fouls out against this other specific guy.
It's not my sport. All of the sneaker squeaking really grinds my misophonia gears.
