I'm not sure what I saw more of today on Facebook.

49er fans celebrating, or people bitching about 49er fans celebrating.

I am originally from California, so most people on my Facebook are from California. It's safe to assume that the majority of Football fans in California are fans of the 49ers, Raiders, or Chargers(lol). So when one of those teams is doing well it's expected for Facebook to get a little nutty.

So when people cry about it, I don't really understand.

Sure some fans are annoying posting shit like "ALL DAY EVRY DAY BAYBAY U NO HOW WE DO!!", but EVERY fan base has classy fans, and stupid fans. Except the Browns who have no fans.

So suck it up and quit bitching

cool story bro

I had two of my hardcore raider fan friends telling me good luck to the niners in the super bowl, and then the bandwagon raiders fans aka former gang bangers saying niners got lucky and hope a meteor hits candlestick park during the super bowl.

I have jock friends who unfortunately hate everything geeky that I am into and are the ones more likely to respond putting down all my geeky shit that they have no idea about BUT I also have geeky friends who unfortunately hate everything sports related I post and are the ones more likely to respond putting down my interest in "Sportsball." If I could I'd seperate everything so all the jock friends could only see what I want them to, and the nerds say what I want them too but since I can't do that EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO PUT ON THEIR BIG BOY AND OR GIRL PANTS AND DEAL.

The only interesting story, since the Minnesota Vikings are not in it, to me is that brothers will be coaching against each other in the Super Bowl.

I am sure the media will play up that aspect of the story and I will be tired of hearing about by the time the game is played. Or maybe they will stick to the Ray Lewis story, since he announced he would retire before the Ravens made it to the Super Bowl.

There's a lot of storylines to this years superbowl. Brother vs Brother coaching. Ray Lewis retiring. Ed Reed or Randy Moss both could very well retire after this year too both sure fire hall of famers both seeking their first ring. Colin Kaepernick 2nd year QB who took over half way through the season and is basically maturing before our very eyes running an offense that so far this playoffs can't be stopped, and on the other end Joe Flacco a butt of a lot of jokes even after defeating Peyton Manning and Tom Brady back to back on the road trying to prove he's one of the top QBs in the league and the Ravens aren't successful in spite of him. So with that I hope the media doesn't just go after one fucking thing and beat me over the head with it so much that by the time the game is played I hate both teams.

I have been there before but with wrestling, it's gets annoying with the whole you know it's fake/scripted or who wants to see two oily men rubbing each other down. But with the recent sucess of both bay area teams comes the major annoying bandwagon that comes with it, people who never once wore the teams gear are now wearing it, and it especially sad when a person wearing Colin Kaepernick don't even know who he is when you ask how they felt about his playoff performance.

I have been a 49er fan all my life but have never worn NFL gear at all. I bought two Jerseys last year however because at my job they would let us wear NFL jerseys on Sundays. I bought a Steve Young Jersey and a Colin Kaepernick Jersey. This was at the start of LAST season. I bought it just because I wanted something that nobody else would be wearing though. I didn't buy it because I knew he was going to be the future, or I thought he was awesome or whatever. I never even heard of the guy until Harbaugh drafted him. So I would wear the jersey every other week and people were always asking me who he was. Now I use it as bragging material like "Ha! Who has had a Kaep jersey since LAST season ?!?! ya this guy!" but in reality I had no idea dude was gonna be anything special lol

When any team makes a run at championships, bandwagon fans always show up. It happens with EVERY team in EVERY sport.

Like I said previously, I was born and raised in California. When I was a kid Green Bay Packers were awful. My freshman year in high school one of my teachers was a Packer fan and we all made fun of him for it. A couple years later Brett Favre started winning games and suddenly there were Packer fans everywhere around me. IN CALIFORNIA! Cmon get real.

Time for me to go all hipster and say "I'm allowed to be a fan of the Packers and Brett Favre because I was at the game for his first start. I knew him before he was cool."
