Flirt4free/VS/IndustryCamModels was I scammed?

Obviously I'm new to camming. I signed up through the industrycammodels site, which swears its one of the most successful and highest paying in the game, yet it has me working under flirt4free whose commission rate is 21%! Now I had no idea how low of a rate this was until I started doing my research on other sites, and I really feel like I'm worth so much more than I've been making. I've been thinking of applying for MyFreeCams, but considering I've only been camming for less than a month, I feel like I should give the site a chance. I just wanna here others opinions, if they know specifically about this site and if it's worth it to give it a chance

Industrycammodels is a studio. If you want to continue giving flirt4free a try, you definitely should, but you should sign up independently directly through the flirt4free website. At least that way you'll be getting your full payout percentage and not giving a cut to a studio (unless perhaps they're a physical studio and they've provided you with space, equipment and all sorts of knowledge).

Myfreecams is a very good option. There's also Streamate and Chaturbate. Good luck!

I started out in a studio on Flirt4Free. They make it very difficult to leave studios. I was one of the top 10 earners one month and consistently good the other 2 months I was active there, and I after learning about studios, I asked support if they would let me join up without a studio - my contract didn't say I needed to stay with the studio for a certain amount of time or anything, so it should have been cut and dry. I was told that they had a good relationship with the studio and didn't want to upset the studio owner. I said I would be leaving for another website in that case, and they told me that they would open a new application for me to make a new account. I sent in the application and never heard back. I gave up and moved on to Streamate.

I'm SO GLAD I did. Both Steamate and MyFreeCams are way, way better. Don't get me wrong, I learned a lot from F4F and think it's a great starter site, but it has an extremely high turnover rate for a reason. F4F is probably on worth it if you're one of the top people on there because of the bonuses, otherwise I think you'd have better luck elsewhere. You could also try getting in touch with your studio manager, as they can raise your rate, but even without a studio you only make 26% from what I've heard, so it can't go much higher.
