Hey!

I am a London based documentary maker. I'm making a film about cam girls and I'd love it if I could get you guys take on it. Of course it kind of depends on the people I meet and interview, but I'd quite like to make the film about whether this whole thing is liberating. A lot of girls seem to see it as a way of sexual liberation, almost in a feminist way. But the whole idea of the internet and sex often makes people think of exploitation, male dominance and generally men being... well, dirty dick-waggling men! But is being a cam girl different to these older ways?

What do you guys think? What are your beliefs on it?

Also, if any of you are UK based, or know anybody who is, and would like to get involved more I would be eternally grateful!

your timing is a little odd. cam girlz the documentary just got fully funded yesterday via kickstarter to complete the film.

that being said there is no reason why you can't make one too. camming on a whole i feel is a positive thing that doesn't get portrayed in the media that way often enough. go for it

Yeah I came across that guys film, looks very good! He's done some really cool other films.. But every film is different, and most I have seen have been American, so I would quite like to make it about it in the UK. Just not sure how popular it is in the UK compared to the US, and how to get access to people!

Do you have any other films? Models or actors you've worked with to vouch for you? Right now I can't think of why a camgirl (who generally value their privacy) would want to risk working with you.

If you can provide those things, then that's great! I hope it works out for you, the more the merrier, I say.
