What things are you doing in order to survive this very slow season? What side hustles are you using to keep your head afloat until the money starts coming back in? Have you went out and gotten a regular job? Did you start your own mini business online? If you are someone who escorts on the low, have you increased your marketing budget in order to advertise and get more clients? If you are someone who does niteflirt, have you increased your marketing budget on there for a higher ranking? Did you do something crazy like sell curio cabinets on ebay to make extra money?

What are my fellow camgirls and camboys(because we don't discriminate over here) doing right now in order to survive this very slow and very stupid financial season? Oh and what tips are you able to share?

I got a new Monday-Friday full-time job. I’m there all day, plus have a long bus ride to/from there. So that’s 13 hours per day that I’m out (It’s a long day), and by the time I get home I have like 2 hours of free time before I have to get to bed. I’m really not trying to spend those 2 hours dealing with non-tipping members who seem to think “You look like Nia Long” is going to pay my bills. Lol. I thought I’d try to maybe cam sometime during the weekend, but man…I’m really treasuring my weekends off…now more than ever, and just relaxing on Saturdays and Sundays. So I’m considering getting on MFC a few nights during the week from like 8:45 pm til like 10:30 pm, and then logging off to roll up my hair real quick and get to bed.

I see that my regular on Phrendly messaged me the other night after like 1:30 AM, asking if I’m up. Nope, I was asleep, which is why I’d set my status as “Offline.” Lol. And I’d already had a conversation with him about how Friday and Saturday nights are the nights I can do those late night video chats with him. But hey, when you’re horny, you’re horny…I get it. Lol.

My plan now is clips. I recorded about 5 this weekend to post one a day on clip sites and see if that boosts my profile. I don't have my hopes up but I think it's important to try.

I was so close to go looking for another job. But with my qualifications (and considering the country I live in) any job would pay about the same I made this month, that if I'm lucky - minimum wage here is $220 and that's PER MONTH. So when I thought about it I think I prefer to struggle camming than to struggle commuting, explaining myself to a boss, preparing a lunch box and so on. I've been there for so long and don't want to go back if there's no clear advantage.

I think escorting is a good option for those who are willing to provide full service. To me it's very reassuring to know you're going to work that day already knowing how much you're going to make (I mean if you do bookings).

Other than that @KingMarti showed me a few rev share options that I think can be really helpful and that I need to look further into.

Not completely related but I accepted help from some people. I think it was important to me to admit I needed help. People can be good and understanding. I was helped greatly by an old client and a colleague. And I know "just ask for help" is a ridiculous solution but I would say, don't be embarrassed to accept it if you need it.

What things are you doing in order to survive this very slow season?

To put it simply. Learn skills, as many skills as you have an interest in, the more skills you have the more opportunities you find.

When it's not slow, build out additional income sources using those skills that will protect you when it slows down.

There's 1000's of things you can do to earn extra income but it all depends on what skills you already have, what you have an interest in or what you are willing to learn how to do. But everything needs time to be built into something, which is why realistically you need to start working on them when it's not slow, but while yesterday was a better time to start than today, today is a better time to start than tomorrow, it's just important to remember that 99% of things arnt going to start generating income overnight.

Make sure when you promote yourself you use affiliate links and not a regular site link, it wont replace your income, but it you might get a new member that signs up through your link that gives you a couple of extra $ a month.
Coursera has courses on pretty much everything you can think of, taught by actual university's and not some random guy like you find on udemy. Creative skills are easier to monetize than something like "an introduction to neurobiology", but even with something like that you open up additional opportunities in fields like content writing on those subjects.

There's a lot of videos on side hustles on youtube (dont buy the courses though, all the information is free if you search on google and look in forums, none of them are doing anything revolutionary, but sometimes it can be motivating to see someone doing something that you think "I could do that"). There's one called mission side hustle, I watched a bunch of his videos yesterday (I like seeing how different people take approaches to the same problems). But he is basically doing a series starting with $500 and trying to get to $1M, the first $500 he uses to buy a moped to do food deliveries, then takes the money from that and selling the moped to move on to the next thing.

I mean if you have any skill you could do the same thing as Mission side hustle starting at $0. Like if you have a decent typing speed theres sites that pay out for transcriptions, if you can sew then you can make custom drapes etc and sell through etsy, amazon, ebay fb marketplace, craigslist etc.

If you like that kind of content there is also a tv show that ran a while ago called "around the world in 80 trades". If you struggle to see oppertunites to earn then youtube channels and shows like this might get some ideas going.

This 1000%. I've been plugging my affiliate links for so long and got my first organic signup a while ago who started spending recently... and while it's not a lot at all, that money is so, so sweet. Passive income is amazing. I need to build up more passive income streams.

Bitly links can get removed by platforms (if you have them on a chaturbate bio for example) and can result in lower click throughs (They look spammy so in general people dont trust them as much as a regular domain) when you use them on sites like twitter. You can increase your click throughs spending like $10 on a domain name then you can set up sub domains for each link.

A couple of extra $ a month for some basic hosting and getting prosper202 (it's free) and then uploading the installer to your hosting you'll be able to see which links are getting clicks. When you have hosting and prosper202 you can set up landing pages and test conversion rates on different landing pages vs direct to the site, you can collect email addresses for email marketing etc. There's a fair learning curve with it all but understanding what is working helps with focusing what your working on.

If you didnt want to go to the hosting route but wanted to keep the tracking that bitly uses you can set a subdomain to re-direct to the bitly link so you get the click data in your bitly account. Its not ideal but it would work.


If you send traffic from multiple sites to chaturbate (other sites normally have something similar set up), but on chaturbate replace default in "track=default" to something that will let you see where the click came from, so something like "track=twitter_account_name" or "track=reddit_subreddit_name".

Then in your tracking details you can set it to show you how many clicks came from twitter, vs each sub reddit.

I usually use hyperlinks in CB bio (without the bitly link iirc) and let the OF/CB card pop up on Twitter but that is really good to know.

Personally I think it's worth taking the time to learn how to install it. Knowing how to upload files and how to install things on servers is going to be useful if someone ever wants to set up an email capture page etc.

IMO the $16.49 a month is a high cost to pay for the laziness of not wanting to learn how the system that's responsible for making your money works, thats a little under $200 for a year, all you really need is a basic package from a host, using namecheap for example would only be $2 a month so $24 a year, so it would save $176 in the first year, the 2nd year name cheap goes up to $60 a year, but even then its still a $100 saving. And a new skill would have been learned which opens up additional earning opportunities.

Not saying its a bad idea using a pre-hosted solution, personally not sure what the benefits would be other than you dont have to upload the files to the server and personally I dont feel like that connivance is worth the price tag compared to the 10-20 mins it would take to follow a youtube tutorial on how to set up prosper on your own server.

If I was going to go with a paid solution though I would be looking more at services like ads bridge or voluum who are set up specifically as a link tracking platform so if you were to run into any issues would more than likely get better support than you would from a general web host that has the option of a pre-installed software. Voluum is really expensive though and ads bridge starts at like $30 a month, but tbh if you cant set up prosper yourself (and cant spend the time to learn how) then you would probably need the support that they offer (I have used both of them in the past, There is a reason why voluum is as expensive as it is, but for what we are talking about 99% of those features cant be used. I also used ads bridge when they first launched, and their support was fantastic and they are still very active on the affiliate forums I use so it dosnt look like that has changed). An individual's current technical proficiency will certainly be a factor when starting down this path. And I certainly agree that expanding one's talent-stack, over time, is always beneficial.

the only ones I used were ads bridge and voluun before their pricing changed a while ago then moved to prosper.

even with a hosted system you need to learn how to use it which is more complicated than following a step by step instruction video on how to install it.

If someone wanted to give it a try 100% free like of they are worried about paying for something they wouldn't be able to figure out how to use, bytehost and infinity hosting are both good free platforms that should be able to run prosper, if you hit them with too much traffic though you might end up crashing it, but they are great for learning how to do the basics.

I hate slow periods, and I usually find myself camming for longer periods to try and make up for it. I did actually start an OnlyFans this year too, and looked at camming on multiple sites, but I did work myself a bit too bloody hard. I burnt out HARD in January ha!
