Hey everyone!!! Recently Chaturbate made changes to the way they respond to support emails you initiate.

Previously, you would get a response saying your request was in the queue and they would respond as soon as possible.

Now when you initiate an email to support, the email response you get in return has a list of links/articles to frequently asked questions. If one of the provided links does answer your question, click to confirm it's been answered on the appropriate link in the email.

If the links do not answer your question, you must scroll all the way to the bottom of the email and click "No" to escalate the ticket to an actual human being. And this is what it looks like.

I think they added it in April of '24. I sent in a support ticket in both march and April, and the April one had the FAQ's, but March did not.

I wonder if failing to respond to this is why some tickets are so delayed recently.

That's precisely why I started the thread. :) I had no idea it had changed until I didn't receive an answer.

The real question is, is this response default for all email inquiries or only the ones where AI can pick up keywords?

Hmm then must be based on what's said in the email, I definitely didn't see any in July.

I also received such a letter. I clicked on one of the topics but it didn't help me. They noted that my issue had been resolved. I had to repeat the letter. Yes, at least this already existed in October.

Yes. Nothing has changed weird. My
Problem is resolved ny itself (payment delay) but this system seems to not work well yet
I'm glad it was resolved but sorry you didn't have a good experience.

Chaturbate does still escalate your query if it can't be solved by a help article even if you don't click the No button so don't worry. Clicking the No button may speed things up a bit though.

They say sending multiple replies that add on to your query may slow them down but I highly doubt this and i've never found this to be the case. I think all of this is basically a catch to reduce the workload for staff which makes sense.

Guess it depends on the situation but all of these people up on this forum saying they've emailed them four or five times and not received an answer...I suppose they could all be lying, but I doubt it.

Oh no i mean more if u add additional replies on to an existing email. If they don't reply to the initial email chances are it's gonna keep getting skipped unfortunately. Only exceptions i've had is on the weekends

Oh, duh. :) You're right.

I've always responded to the original email I receive when I open a support inquiry as they (used to) ask in the initial response. "If you would like to add additional information, please respond to this email."

That wording kind of sucks doesn't it? Especially for non-English speakers...what would be a better way to phrase that?

"Only respond to this email if you have additional information to add or ask about your ticket. Sending another cold email about the same inquiry will only delay the process"?

You can start a thread in the Chaturbate section and tag @punker barbie to get eyes on it, but keep in mind that the response of "I have confirmed support has responded to your email," could simply mean "yeah we confirmed you received the automated reply."

I did this and still haven't received response. I've been waiting since 2-3-25 for my account to be unbanned. I have no idea why I was banned. I purchased 400 tokens and immediately was banned. I was charged and am hoping to get my account back online. Please help. K4353D-XKXRM
