After having seen a few videos (before this thread) I don't think many people in those videos are doing the ACTUAL Harlem Shake. If I recall this was a dance move from the early 2000's that looks a lot more... uh... ghetto fabulous... than what the people in these videos are doing.

It is just sillyiness at its finest.

Opening act is a single person dancing away doing whatever they want. Everyone else around not paying attention.
