I currently multi cam on chaturbate and stripchat. I find my room isn't growing at all on chaturbate I feel like the ones in there don't tend to tip as much as maybe they might as they know I'm somewhere else so wait for stripchat to get to the goal I have set.
I have been on cb for a year and still only getting on average 200 in my room! How do girls get thousands! Seems a mystery to me lol! I'm putting so much into my performances.
Do the top earners on cb not multi cam is that where I'm going wrong?
Trouble is at the moment if I didn't I wouldn't make any money at all 😪

No, I don't think you should blame anything on splitcamming if you're good at splitcamming and focusing your attention on both sites. Some models, including me, would find it amazing to have 200 people in their room. Don't beat yourself up for not having thousands in your room. As AmberCutie recently said in another thread, having a lot of members in your room doesn't necessarily mean more paying members.

I've seen members with a few thousand tokens just chillin' in my room, and they didn't tip me a damn thing. I don't blame myself or beat myself up over it, because I know I'm a damn good model who puts in the effort. Fuck 'em. Try not to let these guys and their lack of spending/short attention spans fuck with your head.

^^^^^this

I would regularly get 100+ people in my room on chaturbate. A handful of times, I had close to/over 1k members in my room (they were always during cumshows). These high amounts did not mean high earnings - in fact, before I moved on to another site, I would average $20~/hour (before taxes!), and the amount of energy and hours talking I was putting into a public stream like Chaturbate just wasn't worth it for me.

High traffic is great, but can you even feel a difference in your room if barely 5% of your 200 viewers are talking or tipping? Unfortunately, bad quality traffic is a thing.

It only takes one person to change your whole night, just as it only takes a handful of generous regulars to make a consistent difference to your bottom line. Your viewer count is not as an important of a number as your earnings are. This rings true on other sites as well: I've met onlyfans creators who had 100-200 less subscribers than me, but was making 2x-3x as much.

Your mileage will vary. Keep splitcamming if it works for you. If you're unsatisfied, you can always try part-time streaming on a different site altogether. Be sure to consider video-selling/subscription/sexting/etc sites to help with passive/side income as well.

I know this might come as a shock to you but if u r averaging at 200 viewers then u r more popular then 90% of all the ladies on cb.
If any of the top performers are with a studio then it's quite likely that they broadcast on multiple sites. The most successful lady I know that did this eventually cut back on them and focused on cb as that was where she was most popular with viewers and tippers.

But again like it's been said more viewers does not mean more tips. I mean right now a lady I'm aware of that averages at 500 viewers seems to be making over 10k tokens in public but the 3 ladies I know that are more popular (one of which does get several thousand viewers) then her are making between a quarter and a fifth of what's shes making over same amountof time.

Right now every lady I truly follow on cb has had a decline in tipping over the last 3 months. Ofc not everyone is struggling (damn I wish I made what that 10k token lady makes per broadcast in a week, let alone in a fucking day!) But got the impression most people have had a slow time recently.

I can only speak to the "top" models I do follow. But yes, most of them are split-camming...and usually it is Chaturbate, Stripchat, and MFC (or any combination of those). It is easy to tell because of the tip sounds, or just seeing them on the other sites.

Also, of the 50 or so "not top" models I do follow consistently, a vast majority have less than 50 members in their room, some just 5-20 members at the same time on a good day.

@Amorina You only need to compare yourself with yourself. The adult industry has a lot of moments where you need to adapt and experiment - I wish I had understood this earlier, I still need to remind myself of that every now and again 😅 Don't be afraid to try splitcamming with other sites, or focusing solely on other sites altogether.

If CB/SC splitcamming works for you, that's great! I would still encourage putting eggs into more baskets, especially ones that provide passive income. A couple of my highest selling videos are actually actually livestreams, and I also upload some livestreams for free on sites like Pornhub, which has given me more (paying) traffic in general with no extra effort.. some food for thought :angelic:
