So I’m new to this whole making videos to sell. Like I have a few ideas on what I want to do, I just don’t know exactly how to start the video. Do I say something to the camera? Do I not pay attention to it and do what the whole point of the video?

Both work, it just depends on which feel you're going for in the video.

I feel the same way, not sure how to start certain videos because I always start out awkwardly in everything I do.
I would suggest trying a few differently intros in the same video, and keep the one you like the most in editing.

The others are right when it says that it depends on the video.
If you're doing a voyeur shower video. Like hidden camera. You wouldn't acknowledge the camera at all.
But if you were doing a JOI video, you would want to say hi.

Answering this question for someone else has officially solved my own problems with this topic. Didn't expect that.
