I don't feel like taking a pic of it all, but I got:

X-Men Days of Future Past and Guardians of the Galaxy on blu-ray
The World of Ice and Fire
a hardcover copy of Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson
a book about Doctor Who
a little plastic Cyberman bust
a plastic wind-up TARDIS that's supposed to spin around but doesn't
a 16 gb flash drive shaped like the Stark direwolf
a Stark baseball cap and pint glass
a poker themed Zippo
and some candy

I got a new scooter!
And a spirograph machine and a toy motorcycle and a view master and some books and what looks like domino's.
And some weird freaky spider/furby monstrosity hanging around my neck.

Okay. I didn't celebrate jack crap this year. But this now qualifies as me having posted a selfie on the forum. Enjoy.

Now i'm going to go see the Hobbit.

Welcome to the 70's. Not an electronic gift in sight! (OMG NO CELL PHONES)

I got myself a mattress topper thing for my bed. That's it though. No family so no gifts there to get or give. Single. A regular suggested I make a wishlist for anyone who wished however nothing was gotten off of it. So no prezzies for me this year. Im trying really hard not to get bummed about it or cry and have hurt feelings and look at good things instead. I have a wonderful dinner of roast beef, parmesan angel hair, cheesy broccoli and mashed potatoes. At least I can eat well :)

I do love receiving gifts but when I sit down and work out what I've spent on other people vs what I've received, it would have been cheaper to buy my own gifts and let everybody else buy their own gifts too. Which obviously goes against the spirit of Christmas, but really, Christmas is about commercialism more than anything else these days. So you can be content in the fact that you're probably much better off financially than I am this Christmas, if nothing else. Plus there's the comfy mattress and the good eats, and with the money you've saved, you can probably make the January sales your bitch :)

From family & in-laws:
Gorgeous scarf
Adorable homemade ornament
Visa giftcard
Target giftcard
Necklace
Strawberry candle
Lotion
Pine scented really cool candle/snowglobe thing

From husband:
Kat Von D lipgloss & eyeliner, Bare minerals foundation, Make Up Forever lipgloss, Smashbox lipstick, Tarte blush & bronzer & mascara, J'adore Dior perfume, sephora giftcard

I got a ukulele and 1 year access to ukulele video lessons and other content!

YouTube is pretty amazing for guitar lessons, so I assume they'd be pretty good for uke lessons too. I pretty much learnt to play guitar with YouTube vids, innit.

Jaa I use that too and usually learn from tabs and by ear. I didn't request the 1 year thingamabob but it was a nice thought and fairly useful :)

Best nights sleep I have had in a long time !! Omg it was heaven. Plus I took your advice and did a lil shopping today. Bought myself a toaster complete with a bagel button lol. Seems silly but I eat bagels a lot and it made me happy. Thanks for the advice Bob :) I feel much better today.
