Hello ACF!!
I couldn't stop myself from making a thread here regarding all the things I have experienced on CB!!
I joined CB last month, 19th June to be exact. I was blown by many of the things there, and was happy to start camming.
My First Hurdle was getting verified. For those who have went through my profile, probably already know I am an Indian. We have too many Government Recognized Identifications that each have their own reason.
Like, say PAN Card is issued by Income Tax Department of the Government of India. Then there are the standard Passport and Driving License, and there is Voter's ID too. We also have a unique number assigned to each citizen by the means of some thing called as AADHAR card. Yes, all of these are Photo IDs.
I don't have a Passport and neither a Driver's License (can't drive, lol). So, I gave one of the other documents for Verification. Of course, CB rejected it, asking me to send DL or Passport using their standard templates.
When I told them the ones I submitted were Government Issued, My first Hurdle was crossed. I was, finally, a broadcaster on CB!! Hurrayy!!
Hurdle Two was the audience. ACF and a few friends I made on CB helped me through most of it. But then you always have the assh***s around!
I am skinny(mind you, Skinny. Not anorexic). I have meals thrice a day, but I have luckily never put on weight or fat. My mum says I would, just like she did after getting pregnant. I have something I'd call a Barbie Doll figure. And that sure makes me look young.
For some, not sure if it is their goodwill or anything else, reporting models is a Hobby!! I was reported in 3 days for being underage. I understand the complexities of handling such a website and the problems CB may face for such a major issue. Of course, I am not underage, and so I sent my documents again!
So, we are back to Hurdle One. It began all over again, the mails to CBSupport and their template messages, and then making them understand the IDs that I was sending. They do understand them eventually, and they used to approve the documents.
Well, It's then time for Hurdle Two again!
I remember reading on ACF in a thread where the OP claimed to have been banned 30 or 40 times in an year. I am pretty much sure that the OP of that thread probably went through the same thing. Multiple cycles of reporting and then re-verification.
If, Hurdle Two followed by Hurdle One is a Cycle, I have been through it 4 times already. Yeah, FOUR times in one month and 10 days. Interestingly, I am halfway the Fifth Cycle.
First two times I was redirected and asked for verification. Third time I was banned. Fourth time I was asked to verify again, and so have I been again this time.
ACF was very helpful in regards to people's experiences, and its true that a sweet letter to the CBSupport can result in wonders!! After the third time, I mailed Shirley aka punkerbarbie, and she's great!! It can take time for her to reply, but she is apt, perfect and crisp in her responses.
Now, I'll tell you the most astonishing thing ever happened to me on CB. I signed up for Payoneer India. Now, Payoneer was relaunched in India with some different rules than the ones that exist elsewhere. Payonner India gives you US checking account number that can be used to collect Direct Deposit from anyone one there which they then transfer to your local account.
I selected Direct Deposit as my payout method, and then when I converted my June tokens, they were returned to CB for being Undeliverable. Payoneer India mailed me saying that the payment was in violation of the ToS(Pornography not Supported) and couldn't be sent through.
I switched to Paxum, and got verified in a little over a week. Whilst Paxum verification was happening, I mailed CB Support to check the status of that payout and if I would get it now. After clearing the confusion and reporting an anomaly in their records, CBSupport told me they would forward it to the Accounts Department. Accounts cleared it and told it would be sent to me in few Business Days.
Meanwhile, I forwarded the communication to Shirley, when CBSupport and I were clearing the confusion. After a few emails, she too replied that she has asked Accounts for a follow-up on my payout.
3 Days Ago, CB sent me my payout.
Yesterday, CB sent it AGAIN.
I am looking forward to return it to CB, as I do not believe in accepting money without EARNING it, but am not sure how. Hope punkerbarbie tells me soon.
