When a region is blocked, you do not appear on the page for them at all, this includes search and index too.

Region blocking is NOT guaranteed. It's not perfect. Very easy to get around via VPNs and sometimes the local ISP might report it being in a different region. It's good to use if you need it but it's not perfect. Just be careful.
