I personally think that even if MFC needs a face lift, it's easier to use.

Some features of MFC that I like for members:
-recorded private shows you can watch over and over (not sure about cb)
-the difference between true private and private (not sure about cb)
-the organization of models
-good balance of hanging out/stripteases/softcore and cumshows/hardcore
-Chaturbate is sorted by number of people in the room, so the naked & fucking will be on the first page. MFC is sorted by camscore, which is based on tips.
-to me mfc creates a feel of websites with a website. cb profiles are boring and largely unorganized IMO, MFC allows girls to make their profiles like their own little website, which is handy if you want to get to know girls or hear about pricing, see videos

Basically they are SO similar but I cam for MFC and I love it so I'm biased.

I would go on both as a free user and see what you personally enjoy.

I will agree as I like MFC better. The other negative for the other non-MFC sites is that to get rid of adds or get better functionality you need to sign up for a monthly fee and that does not include tokens.

I've cammed on both, but am only on Chaturbate right now. On CB, models can choose whether or not to allow recordings of private shows. They can also choose whether or not to allow spies on their private shows, so if they change their settings to not allow spies, it would be like a true private on MFC. One advantage that Chaturbate has over MFC is that the model can set his or her own price for private shows. Cost in private shows ranges from 6 tokens/minute to 150 tokens/minute. I personally set my private shows to 30 tokens/minute if a guy wants a fully clothed hangout private with no masturbation or nudity (which no one has taken me up on yet lol) or 60 tokens/minute for nudity and masturbation. For roleplay, phone in private, and other special requests, I price my privates at 90 tokens/minute and disable spying. Unlike MFC, models can make a new CB account as many times as they want. You have new model status for 7 days on CB and it starts the moment your age verification is approved. However, I found that new model status didn't help me much on CB. All I got were more trolls in my room who tried to fake tip and tried to take advantage or ask for freebies. I've been on CB off and on since 2013, but I just made a new account a couple weeks ago because I lost a lot of my followers from not being on for so long. You can follow models you like on CB and get email notifications of when they're on cam. You can opt out of these email notifications if you don't want them.

Models get 5 cents per token on CB just like on MFC. Like MFC, the more tokens you purchase at one time, the cheaper it gets per token for you, i.e. 7 or 8 cents per token instead of 10 cents per token.

CB has men, women, couples and transsexuals all camming on it. It is sorted by how many users are in your room at any given time like was mentioned earlier, so usually (but not always), rooms with nudity, masturbation, or couples doing blowjobs or sex are the most popular.

Models can also set their own rates for group shows and the minimum number of users required to do a group show on CB.

CB has a thumbs-up, thumbs-down satisfaction score displayed on a model's profile that enables tippers to rate the model a thumbs-up or thumbs-down if they tip him or her 25 tokens or greater. I don't know why someone would tip a model just to rate him or her a thumbs-down, but it happens. lol Models can choose whether or not to display this on their profiles.

I've found that members are less likely to drop huge tip bombs on CB than on MFC, but there are more people who tip overall and in smaller amounts. You can also appoint a moderator on CB (which is kinda like a room helper on MFC), but it is not required. I personally don't have a moderator because the only people who asked to be one were non-tippers, and I like having control over my own room. Moderators on CB can only silence members (make them unable to talk in a model's chatroom for 6 hours), not ban them. Only the model has power to ban members.

On CB, anonymous viewers are like guests on MFC, except for anonymous viewers never have the power to chat in a model's chatroom. Grays on CB are like basics on MFC-they are registered users who have no tokens. The model has the power to decide whether or not he or she wants to let them chat in his or her chatroom. I usually let grays talk until I start a cumshow or another public show, then I silence them because I can't be looking at the screen banning beggars all the time. lol.

What I don't like about CB is that they seem to be ban happy for no reason (with models, not with members). Luckily it hasn't happen to me, but you hear on here a lot how a model has gotten her account banned with no explanation. I also don't like how CB doesn't have a messaging system like MFC mail. Another disadvantage is that you can't ninja tip or anonymously tip while you are in a model's chatroom. However, you can offline tip.

Forgot to add-I also like the many apps CB has to offer. I play Token Keno a lot, where you can assign random numbers members can tip to win a prize. I also use tip in sequence a lot and will do tip the numbers 1-20 for topless, 1-30 for naked, etc. This is easier to accomplish and a lot less overwhelming to members than having one large goal to cumshow that might not get completed. Other apps include Wheel of Fortune, Roll the Dice, Ohmibod, and many more.

I also like the lack of camscore on CB. You can stay on for long periods of time without worrying about tanking your camscore.

I have a friend that struggles with the cam score as well on mfc. Even though as I see post on here her 2000 cam score is not too shabby. There is no right answer here just curious as to what everyone thinks.

I think it would be great to focus on the features and pros/cons for members, not for models. We have plenty of threads about the model side of things, let's not derail this one too much with discussion of camscore and model struggles, etc. Models who have spent some time on the sites as a viewer should share that aspect of their experience.

As a member, I enjoy the multitude of options on MFC. They have been adding a lot of new features over the years which make it pretty customizable. There are now bookmarks, user/model notes, many different sort options, and chat commands, for example. I really appreciate that MFC has no ads or other annoying distractions. I know many people hate the freeloaders and what a way to kick guests out after a minute or somesuch, but I appreciate that it isn't like that. Sometimes I don't want to log in, and enjoy watching as a guest. MFC's profiles are strides above any other cam site right now, IMO. Their token system is simple.

Chaturbate is cluttered, has a mess of ads and pop-unders (I mean, seriously? can you BE any more annoying than that?) and is frustrating to navigate. I don't care to watch anything but cam girls, so the possibility of clicking through to a couples or male cam is not appealing to me. I'm sure CB members enjoy the apps and integrated tip games, but they make the rooms look very messy and confusing. Their profile system is ATROCIOUS, and at times you cannot even access a models' profile if she accidentally forgot to change her settings after a password protected show. Their customer (and model) support is shittastic, as you can read on multiple threads here about bannings and lack of communication for such.

MFC is the OG, has years under their belt as the most popular and successful token-based cam site out there. People crap on it for looking outdated, but the fact is that it works and it works well.

Chaturbate has ensured it'll never see a penny from me through its persistent refusal to treat its models like human beings. The way they operate is a worry to me from not just an ethical standpoint, but from a legal one too. They don't require that their performers produce I.D before they perform (only before they're paid) and I'd rather not run the risk of catching even a second of an underage girl's live sex show. Given the way that they treat their performers, I'd also have concerns about them cancelling my account for no apparent reason while it still had tokens in it, only to be fobbed off forever more with stock email replies that don't answer my questions or help me in any way, or worse yet, be ignored completely.

I've been a member of MFC for about 5 years now, never had any real problems with them and have always found their customer service to be swift and helpful on the small number of occasions I've ever had to use it. The site looks like it was coded in the 90s but it's functional (mostly), and if you want to, you can pretend you've stumbled through a wormhole and landed in an alternate 1995 where the porn industry has evolved at a greater a pace than literally everything else, web design included, and you're now confronted with something that is both of its time, and a good 20 years ahead of it.

Focusing on the overall energy and overall experience I prefer mfc both as a model and as a browsing member/guest.Always a good time.
I find it annoying that many people point out that some features are out of date on mfc or not as good visual as skype or whatever (but then they also admit mfc is the site they spend most of their time on so..if you don't like it why you always there...).
Mfc is awesome and perfect exactly the way it is and it all works together and if you change one thing is like a domino...everything changes.
Not going into pragmatic detail then explaining just simply stating that I have a better time on mfc and I go where I have a good time cause is all it is about.(that and making tokens as model but as member/guest am saying and as model love the colorful customization effects of profile that allow to be very creative)

• being able to buy tokens without wondering "Is this going to cause my account to get locked down?"
• anonymous/ninja tipping

• and of course, the Lounge (though to be fair to CB, that whole damned place is like the lounge, or at least a really crappy version of it).

I run UBlock as well, so I avoid the ads. Only time I see them is when I need to disable the blockers for some reason.

The screengrabs are optional on MFC. You can set it to show the cam preview. Now you can even hover over it and get a slideshow.
