I'm looking to become a cam model, but I was wondering if I could get kicked out of school for it? I don't plan on showing my face during shows, so I'm not worried about being recognized. I'm just worried about using my school's wifi and getting in trouble for it since I'm technically employed by my school. (I'm an RA) Thank you in advance!

Also, will this show up on my credit history or background checks in the future?

You'll be putting yourself at a disadvantage, money-wise, by doing this so...

I don't believe the risk will be worth the $ reward.

Just my opinion. Don't do it.

Check your colleges Acceptable Use Policy. Mine has several rules that would prohibit doing so. Excessive bandwidth usage. Transmission of obscene or pornographic material is included. It also specifically mentions using campus resources for personal profit.

The penalty for such use is removing access to the schools network, which would make it rather hard to do anything at school in modern times. But they also mention "other appropriate disciplinary actions." Which may include suspension from school, definitely would include firing you as an RA.

I've seen other camgirls cam from their dorms, but it may not be worth the risk for you. Keep in mind if you move out on your own into nearby housing and get your own internet connection then they don't have a say in the matter. You could also look into the possibility of bringing in your own internet connection to your dorm and paying for that. Then you wouldn't be on the schools network.
