Not sure if this topic has already been discussed, but i was wondering if fellow cam girls had any advice when it comes to picking a camera for making videos and/or taking pictures for picture sets?

Well, we are CAM girls, after all! ;)

A search will often bring up a lot of helpful threads! This thread has info/tips on searching!

Here are a couple of the camera threads! Some of them are slightly older so the info could be out of date, but you can always revive the thread by posting your questions there! I feel like most of the information should still be sound, though. I know that a lot of us use a Canon T3i (I do and love it) but there are lots of other great options, too!

If you ever get Model Status on the forum, you can access these really in depth threads about cameras!

The threads I'm posting are mostly about cameras that you would use to make content like photosets and videos, not about webcams to broadcast with! There are other threads about those. The favorite webcams right now seem to be the Logitech C920, C930, and 9000.

Kaylee got you first. Yes on the webcams she suggested for streaming. For videos and photo sets alone you're gonna want a Canon Vixia G20, or G30. It's the best and worth the investment.
