Broadcasting illegal in some countries

Hello dear wonderful people of Chaturbate.

As you know, creating and broadcast of pornographic materials is still illegal in some countries in East Europe (sometimes even just watching video or sharing links can get you fines and jail time).

Now I have seen some people from my country (Ukraine) cam and have no problems, and considering to cam myself too, but I am worried about legal status and what happens if something bad occurs - leak of documents or, police from my country sending law orders to Chaturbate to block persons in my country who cam, or try to prosecute us for illegal acts.

In my country Ukraine it is illegal since 2009 to create and broadcast pornographic materials. So how does Chaturbate still allow people to sign up from these countries where it is illegal to do this? And how do I know I'm safe legally and won't be thrown under the bus if my government put pressure on CB or CB tries to clean its hands from people who might damage its business?

Since CB is not your "employer" nor do we own the content broadcasters are creating on our site, the broadcaster would be considered the producer if you had some legal issue where you live. Can that happen? Yes it can. If there is a country that we are made aware is taking legal action against any live cam models that are also broadcasters with CB, then we have and will block accounts that are created from that country. Outside of that, CB is a US based company and other countries cannot legally do much to our cam platform, outside of blocking it on the Internet from their own country's population.
