Alright, who's playing it?
I played it for a bit earlier today and basically what I've learned is I hate FromSoftware. Or rather, FromSoftware hates me. My boyfriend is playing it now and while he's much better at it than I am, it doesn't look like there's any clear objective to this game or info on where you should be going. Everything looks the same everywhere you go.

I am playing and enjoying it. It is frustrating before you fight the first boss and have the ability to level up. You could wander around for a while not knowing that and basically never make progress.

Exactly the problem I was having! I was mostly just wandering around cluelessly and without much lore or direction it got pretty boring for me quickly. My boyfriend on the other hand is having a great time with it, he's streaming it on Twitch right now (because apparently you can do that through the PS4 now) and is really enjoying it. He's way better at it than I am though. Then again, I had a pretty tough time with the Dark Souls games, too. Except instead of getting bored like with this game, I was just really bad at Dark Souls and died constantly.

I'm a little late here, but I've been playing it! It's super ridiculous and difficult, but I've actually really enjoyed it. I like that it's so challenging and I have to wander around and figure out the lore myself. I love this sort of stuff, haha. Have you played any more of it since your last post?

I am :)
Its very challenging and tests your patience. Best thing Ive learned is if you feel like you are on the verge of smashing your controller take a break play something else and come back to it. Its really helped me still love the game.

Oh yeah, it definitely is not a game to play when angry...the game is not forgiving at all when it comes to not focusing on what you're doing.

For those of you who've played both Bloodborne and Dark Souls... are they extremely similar? Or do they have enough differences to make both games unique and enjoyable? Even watching the trailers for Bloodborne I was like... 'that looks eerily familiar.'
