I'm trying to find a way to track usernames and possibly automatically add them to a list in my bio? I've seen a lot of models that have teams, knights, etc that users can tip and be added. I know there are also like monthly high tipper options. I'm curious how models keep track of these and keep them update. Surely it has to be an app

It depends which app versions you're using. V1 apps reset stored information each time you launch the app. V2 apps keep track of the things you've mentioned and you can access those through commands in the app depending on how those were designed.

Over the years, I realized bio recognition wasn't nearly as important as in-chat recognition is for most viewers. Some members didn't want their whole name on the bio because it returns in a google search unless you use a custom image with their names on it instead of raw html text. They don't want other models to know they've been more generous in another room (most common answer given).

That, or giving spiteful members a quick way to google our usernames and find out where else we’ve been so they can stir up drama with a model we both visit. (Yes, it’s childish, but yes, it’s happened a few times.)

Also - I don’t disagree with the “more generous” comment per se, but I want to point out that sometimes it’s not the case. Right now, when I google my cb username plus the word “chaturbate,” the first link is for a model that is like my 3rd or 4th most tipped, and the top dozen image results are all her. But because her profile has my username listed on it and the others do not, it creates the false idea that I’m always in this model’s room (twice a month, in reality) and tipping truckloads there (not really, and not by comparison to the others). But nobody googling my username would know that.

In general, it makes me cringe seeing my username on bios or on social media posts, even if I otherwise like the model a lot.

Ask her to remove it. I would in a heartbeat if asked. I chose more generous for the exact reason you explained. It appears to the other model that that is the way, regardless of the reality.

Yes what I saw was a custom image that rotated through the list of members on the "team". It wasnt like html text anyone could copy and paste. I wasnt sure if anyone knew how to easily accomplish this

Well, it's kind of a pain in the ass to be perfectly honest to do it yourself. You'll have to find an image, host that image on a site separate from CB in order to put in your bio and manually update it with text overlay every time someone meets the criteria you set. If you have a very busy room, that may not be desirable. OR, you can hire a bio designer that gives you a place to put those names. This guy, https://twitter.com/Leedsladlooking , has designed some of the big name bios and some smaller rooms as well. He's super easy to work with and accepts payment in tokens, he has a ton of designs to choose from and all are customizable.

Oh that sounds like a pain! Thank you for the suggestion! I saw him on Twitter and was thinking about having a bio made. Do you think the app is more important than a bio first? Thanks for all the advice btw!

You are absolutely welcome :) It's hard sometimes trying to figure this stuff out. The app is always more important. I think the bio is less important because you're probably going to change who you are over time after figuring out the types of viewers you attract (and he will make changes for you for a nominal fee). If you want nothing more than the leaderboard on your bio, that's absolutely fine.
