Hello everyone! My girlfriend and I have been streaming on CB for about two weeks. We initially decided to try it just for fun. During our very first stream, we earned about 600 tokens (around $30) in just 30 minutes. "Wow," we thought — but over time, we noticed that during the same timeframe, we were earning not 600 tokens, but hardly 60. It seems that over time, users tend to tip less.

I found out that CB has a promotion for newcomers. What exactly is this promotion? The first thing that came to mind was that CB places new streamers on the front page. Okay, so we decided to try a paid promotion during a stream (it cost 70 tokens). Yes, we were placed on the front page, but… it didn’t result in the same income we had during our very first stream.

Later, I noticed that it’s possible to appear on the front page even without paying for promotion — apparently, there’s some kind of auto-promotion based on audience retention. Additionally, it’s easy enough to attract a decent number of viewers, around 100–200, but this doesn’t necessarily lead to significant tips.

So, here’s the question: What exactly does CB do at the beginning that results in crazy tips? Did you experience the same thing? Please share your experience!

Thank you! You might be right. The first thing a newbie wants to do is find the "royal road" and figure out the algorithms—especially if they’re an engineer by training 😊 I agree about the vibe between couples; it also seemed to me that the audience can sense the current dynamic in the relationship.
You're always going to see ups and downs between room viewership and tipping trends. Try to remember people budget for this and there are cycles to it. Some people are independently wealthy and others can only spend $20 but want to play too. Every token counts at the end of the day, say yes to things you are comfortable with but don't get in the habit of doing anything you are uncomfortable with.

It's all about the vibes...speaking...
Most sites have a “new tag” that puts you in a special category on the site. Lots of users like to check out new for various reasons, making it a boost on new accounts.

I’m not a CB expert so I’ll let someone else chime in for better tips but I have heard how big hashtags are there.

On all token sites though, consistency in your shows is generally a key to building a fan base and retaining them.

It was the new tag on your stream, it only lasts for like 160 hours once you are verified.

Hashtags are your friend. But only use the ones that actually apply to your room. You put them in the subject line of the broadcast, not in an app.

The apps you run matter. You need a game of some kind whether it's cards, slots, keno, or guess the magic number.

Encourage people to follow you and vote. CB is strongly based in building a good following and doing things people want to come back for.

Edit: promoting your room is just a nice way of giving CB your money for no return of investment. No one converts to a tipper because of it. And some people have said it reeks of desperation and can attract exactly the people you don't want -- people who will never tip.

Thanks for your reply! I just had a thought: the only way to earn more tokens, all else being equal, is to attract a larger audience to the stream, and they need to be CB participants (since they already have tokens). I’ve also noticed that, with the same number of viewers, CB generates more profit than Stripchat. This might be related to the average viewer’s purchasing power—it’s one thing if the viewer lives in a developed country, and another if they don’t. Of course, my observations and assumptions might be wrong.

My sincerest advice to you is to spend time engaging with your audience instead of worrying about algorithms and page rank. Also couples shows tend to either hit or miss depending on the vibe between the couple.

If she looks uncomfortable or he looks shy or domineering, it's a turn off.

I've had $$$$ nights with only 30 people in the room.

Well said! I think in all cam work, our passion and enthusiasm comes across to our viewers.

They aren’t watching normal porn because they want the real and raw and authentic. If we can give them the real feeling of enjoyment, it’ll come across.

And all it takes is one tipper sometimes :)

It's all about the vibes...speaking of, if you don't have Lovense toys, get some. It really, really helps (as much as I hate their presence, it's just fact).

I have the Ambi because the Lush is crazy uncomfortable in me and holding it externally is a bit of a pain. The Domi is the jackhammer of a line, super powerful but may be something she likes.

And this happens in every couples room but you would do well to avoid it at all costs -- it's her decision. Not the room, not yours, not the tokens on the table. Commit to saying things like, "her body, her rules. If she's uncomfortable, I'm uncomfortable." Immediately ban anyone who disrespects her, you, or your relationship.

You can ban anyone, any time for any reason and it has no impact on your standing with CB. But, it does earn you a hell of a lot respect from other viewers and you may even get some tips for it.

March 2025 will be my 12 year anniversary on CB and it's the only site I broadcast on and the most important thing I've learned is beeeee yourself. Always. Never waiver. They will fond you and participate.

There are other long term CB broadcasters on the forum here, I hope they chime in as well.

Thank you for your detailed and kind response. Sometimes the best solution is the simplest one, but it can be hard to see it amidst other simple choices. That’s why the experience of a person is especially valuable.
