It's less popular, but I got my start on AdultWork.com and I love it. I'm based in the U.S., but AdultWork is a U.K. website with nearly all it's users from the U.K. Right now it is populated by mostly Romanian cam girls, so there are big opportunities for native English speakers. AdultWork is UK based, and at the bottom of their homepage it tells you the current time in the UK. I used to cam on there, and in the area where you look up your earnings...everything was referred to in GBP (pounds). I remember using a currency converter to show myself what __ GBP comes out to be in U.S. dollars.

I think you meant Cyprus? I've read that Naked, Cams, and Streamate are based in Cyprus, but I don't know if that's true or not. I only know that AdultWork is a UK site.

Nope, definitely not UK though most of the customers are from here. They are registered in Florina, Greece, the banking goes through Malta, and they have links in belize and the Netherlands as well. AW is my main site and I've worked there for over 5 years, recently helping to negotiate the implications of the new EU VAT digital goods directives as they were unfamiliar with UK tax laws x

Fair enough...but nearly every member on that site is from the UK and all income is calculated in GBP. EU VAT doesn't apply to US models, we don't pay any additional taxes on top of our rates.

I mentioned the VAT because one of the highest rates being charged to customers was UK at 20%. This was causing a dramatic loss of business and didn't need to be charged on live entertainment, which AW were unaware of, along with the fact that that UK residents do not have to register for VAT unless they earn over a certain amount - both of which they would have been familiar with if based here.

Not all members are from UK either, there are a lot of US, French, German, and Australian. AThe majority of models on the site are from eastern europe x

Just putting it into perspective that this is not a UK site. The only UK camsites sites are governed by the british phone board regulations and subject to maximum price rates, which makes them terrible to work on money wise. The 'best' sites for UK girls are the same as those for any other nationality. I prefer AW and it is my main site, but I can earn similar on US sites also x
