Best Server to Streaming

Hi, I'm in Colombia, I'd like to know if when I connect via OBS, it's advisable to select a server closer to my country and not one as far away as Japan for example. I understand that for streaming it's better to have a server with a better ping and I think the ping is given by the distance from the server vs the distance from where the streaming is done.

Go with primary if you have issues try the backup, if still have issues do custom and try :
rtmp://bog.live.mmcdn.com/live-origin

After that if you still have issues try others like Amsterdam, Brasil is almost never a good pick surprisingly.

Ping time is not a big deal when it comes to streaming as long as you aren't getting packet loss.
