I was banned without warning on Chaturbate about 48 hours ago. No alert beforehand saying what the problem was specifically, just an outright draconian ban with immediate effect!
Apparently I was āin violation of terms of seviceā which is a massively overarching statement if ever there was one.
Surely there could be an on-screen warning given in situations like this where there is a suspicion that something awry has occurred rather than a full and immediate ban that can take days to resolve. I know that models get on-screen warnings in the case of small misdemeanours etc so why canāt this extend to other people?
I emailed Support immediately at 4.45pm local time and received an auto-response āone of our customer service specialists will be in touch shortlyā so I waited. And waited. Still nothing by midnight so I went to bed thinking Iād receive a response overnight.
Still nothing by morning and, mindful of the kindly notification in the auto email not to send repeat emails as this could delay a response, I waited some more. So after 24 hours had lapsed I emailed again.
Now almost 48 hours later I am still banned, still no knowledge of why I was banned, and still no response from any customer service specialist. I really think this is unacceptable given that I am still in the dark about why this happened in the first place, especially when I donāt believe it to be right or correct.
I am moderator for several models on the site (the sole moderator in some cases) and Iāve now missed several broadcasts as I am unable to join their rooms.
Any guidance, assistance or help would be greatly appreciated - thanks Charlie (Chaturbate username Charliemikegolf but no support ref/case number allocated yet)
