LOL, ok

so, I know there's a 'public [shaming] chaturbate thread' already., but since we see 'I got banned' threads every day I thought I'd take this opportunity to make my own.

so, before I go online sometimes I like to tweet a pic with my 'online' tweet,

a few times I've used actual webcam snaps for it.

instead of doing it while the room gathers and multitasking, I've decided to do it on my original member/browsing account.

I'm not there to be watched, so I password protect my room so I can get a 'broadcast' quality screencap instead of that little delayed pre-boardcast one.

anyways, I jump on that account, configure my lighting/etc., then dance around a little capping screenshots.

I got about 3 screenshots in and then BAM ... error, refresh page ...

I refresh my screen to a 'underage ban'

it's not a tks account and NO ONE WAS ABLE TO GET IN MY ROOM unless they got my password from somewhere. lolwut (a password I've never given out)

wtf happened?

does this mean a CB official was viewing my password protected room, watching me not doing a show for an audience of zero people

my model account is fine. so luckily this is just hilarious/dumb not frustrating.

Wow, as of late CB seems to be having some real issues with its ban mechanism. I'm really interested in seeing the reasoning behind this one.

It took me almost a week to get a reason for my ban. I was told that I look too young, according to 18 USC 2257 A. Reading through 2257A, there's nothing in the statute that even implies a restriction on looking young. In fact, there's nothing written about looking young, throughout 2257, as a whole. It simply says that all records of my age must be presented, and record keeping on their end must be on point. They approved me to work with 2 other models, in less than an hour, but they banned my own personal account, due to my appearance.

I don't believe that there's a rhyme or reason for their decisions to ban, most of the time. It's just a matter of what kind of mood they happen to be in on that particular day, and the idea that you won't investigate their claim for yourself.

Seems to be they ban ALL using the under the age reason if the room was a 2some or 3 some..not just the model that appears young.

Even my friend she is 26 they banned her solo account EVEN though she hadn't used it in 6 months

The question to CB still remains, how long does a model who is banned in this way need to wait until they can reapply

they probably meant 2256

(8)“child pornography” means any visual depiction, including any photograph, film, video, picture, or computer or computer-generated image or picture, whether made or produced by electronic, mechanical, or other means, of sexually explicit conduct, where—
(A) the production of such visual depiction involves the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
(B) such visual depiction is a digital image, computer image, or computer-generated image that is, or is indistinguishable from, that of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
or
(C) such visual depiction has been created, adapted, or modified to appear that an identifiable minor is engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

I was approved and verified under 2 other accounts, belonging to my friends. I submitted the Identifications at the same time. One account has never been broadcasted over or even used to chat in rooms. He discovered this morning that it was banned as well.

BANNING SOLVED

Well, we got everything sorted out, and all of our accounts are re-opened again. I did the only thing that I could do - which was sent in further proof of my age, along with pictures, as well as sensible emails, explaining the issue. They replied that some pictures, whether it be lighting, angle, or whatever - can make someone appear younger than their age. I can't really give advice since I'm really fresh at this. However, that's what worked for me.

Great to hear they finally came to their senses..

The funny (?) part is - as soon as I posted my last comment - I went to change a few things, and the account was banned again. Sent in my ID's AGAIN, and it immediately reinstated. It's getting crazy! lol

is kink-shaming classy now?

if you're here, since your'e obviously not a model, then you're probably someone who desperately pays girls far away to do things you can't get a normal girl to do for you, so I dunno why you'd be throwing stones.

Yeah that could be it.. or i could just be posting a funny image in a thread about models who LOOK young or who are trying to look young

mmmmmmm, I wonder how that doesn't violate their age-play rule.

Well it was in exhib section ? so guess they don't really care. They still can't be bothered properly banning the russian video spam rooms.

In the 10+ years that I have been visiting cam sites I have only ever reported one performer. And that was because a small, female child entered the room in which the model proceeded to put her on her lap, took her hand and made her make the "waving" motion to the cam and introduced her as her daughter. This was on MFC a few years ago, and I feel it was a bona-fide instance to report.

What I don't get is models going out of their way to report other models. I can only view this as a direct attempt at removing the competition, and is counter-intuitive on so many levels. In that regard I think that reports should only be considered if coming from paying, premium members. Feel free to differ, but that's my position on the matter.

what makes model-paying site-paying members opinions or observations more valid?
or, another angle: if a website wants violations reported, why would they want to hinder the ability for valid reports to be made?

Come on CB get your shit together
:facepalm:another reported and not removed, has several hundred followers
