Is anyone else having major issues with mfc especially and flash based sites in general lately? It seems to happen in any browser I use. In my case it crashes in around 2-5 minutes every time it is opened. I have tried many things to fix it, including numerous permutations of deleting, disabling, and updating flash and it's plugins, creating a new profile, etc. Nothing works. My girlfriend is having the same issue.

Anyone had any luck fixing it?

If you are having trouble with all flash based sites, perhaps something needs updating or your Internet just isn't working properly? Flash does take a bit of work to download and live streaming on demand can take a toll on outdated software or a slow connection.

Thanks for the reply, but believe me when I say I have exhaustively pursued those options. I have even tried going back to older versions of flash, etc. The machine is plenty up to date, has more than enough RAM, is well maintained, and performs flawlessly in all other applications. Streaming on silverlight works perfectly(netflix streaming HD, even surfing other sites while watching), but flash does not, and particularly mfc.

There are issues with a recent Flash version and Firefox Mozilla 13

There was a "fix" released the other day. It involves upgrading to Firefox 13.01 and installing the reinstalling the latest Flash.

so that's why i keep getting pop-ups saying flash isn't working. i thought it was a virus since it only showed me on pages that strangely didn't have flash. whew.

Mine did the flash crashing thing for a while, now it changed to the aw snap message on mfc. Before it only crashed if I had a bunch of flash windows open. Now it crashes every single time I open mfc, even if I pause all updates and am not watching a cam. It does the same in chrome, Mozilla, and IE. I have the newest versions of all three browsers and of flash. The only way I can get mfc to work at the moment is on my android. Lol!
