I got a tattoo on my ass on Tuesday. It looked amazing.
I've been doing the best that I can to take care of it except for the fact that I have to drive almost every day.
But for some reason, it looks like part of the lines are starting to blur... Is it possible that it's just bruised in that area? It's still sore so I'm hoping that's all it is.
Or could it be that I swell up like a mother fucker after getting a tattoo? Most of the swelling is gone and it's possible I guess that it could be why it looks blurry.

I guess I'm just asking your experience with blurred lines.

.......I know you want it

Laying on the puns a bit thicke there aren't you?

Hahaha hate to agree here but a picture would really be best. Are you talking about Blowout? I'm not exactly sure what "blurry" would look like but "blown out" is what I'm assuming?

I thought a blowout happened right away. But it looked amazing at first.
I'll post pictures in a minute. I tried uploading them from my phone but it said it was invalid, so I'll use imgur.

Hard to tell from the pic, but it does look lilt a bit of blown out lines to me. It would look lesa noticeable at first cause skin is enflamed and swollen a bit, the artist (should have) would have known while workin on it that it blew out, but until your body starts to heal and has diffused a bit of the ink itself, you wouldn't be able to see it yourself without knowing what you were looking for. If it bothers you after its all healed, then just go and have it shaded around those areas on the bottom to appear as if its intentional. I'm sure only you and a trained eye would be able to pick it out tho honey. No use worrying too much until after its all healed. Then decide what you would like yo do with it.

Thanks, I might not worry about it too much. After I said something to my husband, he was like "....I don't see what you're talking about. I see shading? And thick lines? I don't see anything wrong with it though."

She probably just thought I was exaggerating when I said I swell really when I get a tattoo.

That's too bad that the artist didn't take your words or the evidence of swelling into consideration when tattooing you. Chances are maybe they did and it should turn out just fine as they probably didn't view it as hazardous to the outcome. I had a few clients when tattooing that I would only get 30 min sessions in on them at a time before they swelled so much I was afraid it would effect how it may turn out. But people are more receptive to you being honest and making sure they have the tattoo they wanted and not a blown out mess. As I said, I'm sure you will be just fine love. Looks all within normal bounds and not like a prison stick and poke tattoo from here:)

Honestly, I think anyone who sees it is going to be more focussed on the body part it's attached to to notice. :twocents-02cents:
