Are there any camsites that provide payroll cards to models?

Payroll cards are a freaking scam, there's so many fees associated with them it's ridiculous.

I once had a roommate who worked at two different stores with "mandatory paperless pay"... aka give us a bank to direct deposit your paycheck into, or we'll send you a shitty card with shitty fees. She had a card for each store, the amount of money she lost every pay period was ridiculous. She was perfectly capable of getting a bank account, she just didn't want to.

Most are. Others have rules that if you don't participate in certain options such as direct deposit, scheduled transfers to savings, etc. they will charge fees.

But, overall, agree with both of you that payroll cards are stupid.

Some people don't keep checking accounts because they owe money or don't want money collected or are hiding from SOMETHING or they defaulted on credit and can't get one in the first place. It very common from someone with a medical bill history to do this.

I have only three employees that don't have direct deposit setup. All three of them take their checks to a cashing place and don't use banks because they don't want to lose money to back child support or alimony payments.

I'm surprised their wages haven't been garnished yet for that. Or, are they ones that jump around once it happens?

Around here court order garnishment only happens if the person has NO checking account at all. What they're doing is keeping a minimum balance which a percentage is covered and pocketing the rest. Usually saying that fees or something 'ate the money away'.

I need a court order to garnish as an employer. That's pretty rare around here.

Yep, was referring to court ordered garnishment. I know a lot of people scam the system to claim they can't afford it. But, if it's court ordered, shit comes back on them eventually.

Personally, I don't like alimony. I think it's a stupid thing as when the divorce occurs, it's the end of marriage. End of financial ties to each other. Unless there are minor children. Then, that is where reasonable child support comes into play. But, most people get greedy and they either fight to take money, or to keep it.

I discovered I cant use my payroll card for Amazon Prime or Planet Fitness. Im going to switch to Old National Bank.

You NEVER want to use a payroll card as a credit card. The fees on them are unreasonable. I have one employee on a pay card because he refuses to get a checking account and I feel horrible for him but if he wants to lose his money being stubborn there's only so much I can do about it.

My payroll card dosent charge any monthly fees or transaction fees. But it does charge 75 cents for an ATM inquiry, 99 cents per bill pay, and $1.50 for an ATM withdraw.

That's outrageous. You shouldn't be charged money to see how much money you have.

In my humble opinion, a solid webcam site will have multiple options for its independent contractors. US residents, or Canadian based may stick to the traditional paper check and that's totally cool, whilst someone located in another region may opt for other more robust options. Don't forget that many millennials don't even know what a queue in the bank looks like. I don't recommend gift cards, or anonymous one time burners. A steady work related prepaid card which is used for a payroll should have a minimal online account interface, so one can check the balance online for instance.

In addition, there should at least be some basic protection for the users, the ability to make a chargeback (that's true not only clients do so, even models have justified reasons for making a chargeback because they are valued consumers too) etc.
But what do I know about cards anyway...
