Anyone make costumes? (and/or like anime?)

Now adays I find it harder and harder to find people who share my love of costume making and anime. Is there anyone on the forums who share these loves?

I combine these two loves and make anime/video game costumes, in which I wear to conventions. So anyone else enjoying making costumes and/or anime?

I love costumes, but I don't take them too seriously. I did Harley Quinn from Arkham Asylum for Halloween on cam last year which to be honest was fairly easy since I had most of the right whore clothes.

I used to be a regular in her room, but she's never on around my hours so I don't see her much. She's got more costumes than I do brain cells .-o-.

I love her Green Lantern costume. That was one of the hooks that got me at MFC/ACF. Saw it at 4chan and saved that gif to a dark place in my HD.

I am so envious of your costume making skills! I someday want to have tons of cosplay costumes, and not necessarily just anime. I have a picture of me in a pvc gothic loli outfit, but I didn't make it and it doesn't relate to any characters, lol!

I'm a Halloween-loving, costume-making freak! I was also a street character in a Renaissance Festival a few years ago.
I'm one of those people that has a freak out if a costume is made with incorrect fabric, trim, etc.

I've done my own Halloween costumes since I can remember. I love doing my own make-up effects and hope to get better at it. Lon Chaney is a hero of mine. I don't necessarily get into the sewing of fabric, for lack of a machine, bu I have been known to piece some things together. And I have a great love of masks- all kinds: Halloween, tribal, gas masks. I plan to start making my own or at least designing them, as there is a local costumer here who shares my love of the macabre.

My costume skills are leaning more towards making armor, I have made 2 suits of Japanese armor and 4 chain mail shirts, and helped make a suit of plate mail out of stainless steel for someone that needed a little more muscle to hammer it out.

I love putting together my costumes for my private galleries! I'm no seamstress by any means but I can shop the hell out of an online store to find just what I'm looking for. I try not to go too over the top... I like my gallery shoots to have some sort of realism to them and not appear like some shitty costume was picked out of a Halloween store. I like to avoid the 'camp' and try to put something together that you're not likely to see anywhere else...
