An apology from me

6 years ago(or however long ago it was), I got into an argument and said some things I shouldn't have said to some of the models here. These models definitely weren't innocent in this, as I was very provoked, but as a mature adult, I should've handled it way better than I did, and it's for that reason that I'm apologizing. This world is full of people who will say and do things to provoke you. Sometimes it's for the sole purpose of provoking you, and sometimes the provocation is simply a consequence of intentions. Either way, all of us involved can do better, and should have. From this moment forward, I will. That's a promise I intend to prove. Thanks for reading.

Look, if you're going to apologize just do it. Skip the defensive posture and just admit you said some things you shouldn't have and let it go at that. It's not that hard to do.

That's not at all what I said. If you feel like that's what I'm really saying simply because I pointed out that they weren't innocent, you're wrong. I'm apologizing for my part in it. Pointing out that everyone was guilty in the altercation doesn't make my apology any less sincere. But, you're free to believe what you wanna believe. I won't demand that you feel the way I want you to.

If being called out for your own poor behavior provokes a negative response in you, that's something you need to work on. In that original thread you claim that everyone else is unable to take criticism... Pot, meet kettle. No one did anything wrong in telling you that you should expect to pay performers when requesting that they do something. That's how this whole thing works. It appears that you are a bit more understanding of that now, so it's odd to me that you are still trying to defend your argument years later after seemingly realizing you had it all wrong back then. Still a bit sore over being told you were wrong, perhaps. Well, you were. Probably time to get over it. Especially if you are planning to continue to participate on the forum.

I admit that I don't even remember what the argument was about, and frankly I don't care to rehash it. I just remember people smarting off to me/being disrespectful, and I remember firing back at them, which I was wrong for. It is what it is dude. I'm apologizing for the things I said. It's exactly what you said. It's fascinating, it's like there is a complete disconnect between what you wrote and what you think you wrote. You used provoked or provocation four times in seven sentences. Provoked means the other side caused your reaction and is at fault, it's a very specific word

I was provoked. People sometimes try to provoke you, and people sometimes don't try to, even when they do. That's what I said. I also said being provoked doesn't justify me being an asshat, which is why I am apologizing. Never once did I say, or even imply, that I believe they're the only ones guilty of anything. If I believed that, this thread wouldn't exist, because I'd have nothing for which to apologize.

Listen, arguing further about this is pointless, so I'm not going to. I'm apologizing. Take it or leave it. I'm not going to continue defending the sincerity of my apology. Maybe judge my future words and actions to see whether or not it's sincere. Or maybe just set your belief that I'm a narcissistic asshat in stone and stop interacting with me altogether.
