I used ovoo when me and my bf were long-distance.
it seemed to run a bit faster than skype at least on my laptop.

Dang read the TOS, and they don't allow pornography. Thought it might be a nice Skype alternative till I read that.
I had no idea o_o I had so much online sex AND age play stuff on there too lmao oops. it sucks that they don't allow it since i liked the window sizes a lot better than Skype!
It's most likely because they want their service to be "family friendly".Dang read the TOS, and they don't allow pornography. Thought it might be a nice Skype alternative till I read that.

I found an alternative to Skype that does not mention adult content in their TOS. https://appear.in/I had no idea o_o I had so much online sex AND age play stuff on there too lmao oops. it sucks that they don't allow it since i liked the window sizes a lot better than Skype!

You might want to read section 4 part D of Skype's TOS then because every cam model ever has violated it using skype.
(d) use the Software or cause the Software (or any part of it) to be used within or to provide commercial products or services to third parties. The foregoing shall not preclude you using the Software for your own business communications, subject to paragraph 4.1 above;
Unless you are camming for free on Skype you're providing a commercial service to a 3rd party. That's an express violation of Skype's TOS.
Wasn't saying that it wasn't (unfortunately it is). The point of the thread was technically finding alternatives to Skype/Skype-like sites/software. Yes, many camgirls have violated it, but that's mainly because it's been the only thing we felt we could use.
If you read the TOS of the site Guy linked to here: https://appear.in/
Maybe I'm missing something, but they don't seem to have issues with any of these things.
How are SkyPrivate and CamModelDirectory even able to exist if they break Skypes rules?Wasn't saying that it wasn't (unfortunately it is). Also if sites like SkyPrivate and Cammodeldirectory allowed camgirls to connect with members via ok sites like appear.in then I'm sure you'd see more over there than you do. The platform helps us get our names out there after all.

I'm thinking about getting Skype so I can use CamModelDirectory. Could I be banned from Skype for paying for shows?Wasn't saying that it wasn't (unfortunately it is).
