I see some value in this. Creative writing might not be everyone's forte and you can sell it for however much you like. I imagine you could also resell it pretty easily too by doing a word search and replace for different names of clients.

It's cool that you can write your own stories but I can understand how others would rather outsource it.

I agree, if you can, and want to, write the erotica go for it. There's no need for my services if you can do that on your own. Not everyone wants to though. This is more for the person who would just rather sell the erotica without having to do the work writing it.

First, it's really cool that you admitted that you just didn't know any better, and are willing to take suggestions. So good on you for that.

As for suggestions, I would say check out squarecash or circlepay. With square or circle, you can send p2p payments pretty easily if you don't have tons and tons of payments going on. It may be a bit hard to keep track of everything after a certain point as your business grows, but it could work out great if you are just picking up steam. I know many cam performers already use these methods, as they keep all information on both ends private, or rather, only disclose the name you set up on your account, in place of any personal details.

Payoneer is a bit more challenging, because if I am understanding correctly, you wish to have performers send you the payments - not the other way around. And I don't think they allow private loads and payments for most/any users anymore, whereas if you were setting up an account to pay OUT of, it could be used the way that cam sites do mass payouts with this method. So I'm not sure that is a good option for you. Can't speak for how paxum works, but I do think it is likely to be similar.

I am not sure about ccbill, beyond the fact that I know they have account types that are adult-friendly. They will of course charge you a service fee for each transaction, as well as a monthly fee for using their service, I imagine. I think it is their "blue" account type that okays adult transactions and allows you to accept all types of payments. However, this will require a large amount of trust in you from the performers you work with, as they would be required to input their payment information each time to send a payment, rather than simply creating the payment from say a square or circle account. Not that I think ccbill discloses these details to you, the merchant, but I would be skeptical about using it to send a payment on a site that I am not too familiar with, for various security reasons that go along with typing your payment account information into a form on a new/unknown business's site. (I am not saying this to call you untrustworthy, just putting it out there as a consideration. Of course protecting the security of everyone's information on both sides is always a top concern.)

I guess it all depends on the size of your business and what you think will work best for what you are doing! But I hope this was somehow helpful.

Thanks for all of that info Mollie. Here's what I've done so far. I signed up for Payoneer, but that may not work. It only allows me to bill in Euros. When I contacted customer service they said;

As you are a United Sates resident, we cannot provide you with U.S. payment service details.

The U.S. payment service details we provide are provided for users who are not U.S. residents and do not have U.S. bank accounts.


This service provides Payoneer account holders with a US account/routing number, which can only be used to receive funds via US ACH/Direct Deposit. All payments received are then loaded directly to the associated Payoneer account.

Kind of bizarre, but oh well. It is a pretty cool service if you need a US bank account and routing number though, as I'm sure there are a lot of cam girls outside of the US. I did sign up for squarecash which was pretty straight forward, and seems like it will work. I also signed up for googlewallet, but didn't really look into whether or not they allow adult oriented payments.

This whole paypal thing kind of pisses me off. Fuck them for even caring about how I earn a legal dollar. All they need to do is take their cut, and transfer my money. Not worry about how the money was made as long as it's legal.

The part about Green Dot isn't accurate anymore. Green Dot cards can no longer be used for business purposes of any kind. I've also heard about guys using them to buy tokens on MFC. Also, Venmo has since become a subsidiary of PayPal and now officially bans adult content.

Please tell me if I am really naive for asking this, but do you think that paypal or any other service, would have issues with selling erotica simply because it is a transaction with a sex worker, even if there is no porn or sex work being bought/sold? Erotica is not sex work exactly, not even porn technically. So seems like selling erotica stories wouldn't be a problem unless Paypal is discriminating against people who are SW no matter what the actual thing is that is being bought.

I'm curious about this because I have an idea for an art project that involves pretty sexy imagery and I'm wondering if I could get into trouble if I use a service like Paypal for selling the work, even if I wasn't usng it for selling porn. I haven't read any ToS so I'm totally clueless about this at the moment.

@Ms_Diane pp has shut down model accounts before they were ever even used. They've banned family members of models. If they think there's a hint of a possibility you're using it for anything remotely considered adult, you'll probably get banned and your money stolen.

Hello everyone. I was wondering what you cam girls, or guys, thought about maybe selling personalized erotic stories to your clients?
