    Could have the best of both worlds for not too much work if there was a pause button and it applied to the current browsing session? Pause would give you metrics on how many users (plus users vs logged in users) let them run and on which devices. Or going with the social media site approach...

    I think you've hit the nail on the head with all of those points. Having been on the site for about a year through several phases of redesign it doesn't feel as if changes get any real UAT and playing around with something that's an income stream for sellers who may not be in the best...
