    It's not uncommon to have to wait for a few days to get a response from CB's support. It's also highly unlikely that the model will get banned, regardless of if you get your tokens refunded or not.

    You need the address to give to CB, not for the U.S. bank account, which you don't need to go to the U.S. to open (I have a U.S. account with RBC), which is the issue I ran into when I tried this a few years back. Also I am Canadian, born and Raised.

    Being under contract doesn't necessarily mean your friend can't work somewhere else, you would have to check the laws of wherever they live. Often times most non-compete contracts are unenforceable, or may come with stipulations such as extra compensation.
