    I do the same. I read my friend's chat rooms all the time but rarely post. (I guess that makes me a "lurker"). I communicate with her solely in PM (which I pay her for), tip her privately, and use my tokens for private shows. I have to admit, the chats can be entertaining!

    Private shows not recording

    It is not automatic. The model can disable the record feature. I do not know whether or not the private show is recordable is indicated on the model's page in CB. I don't think it is. Many studios disable their model's record feature and ask for extra tokens to record.
