i seem to notice that even if you tip a model that they may still ignore you .
I seem to get better results if I let them make contact and decide if they are comfortable with next steps

If they are a busy model, who is doing something else at the time, and your tip is small, yes, this could happen.
Traffic seems to be feast or famine, all at once, or not at all. So when it does come, we have to filter out who the highest priority for our attention is, based on past history and current spending.

If you send a model a 5 or even 20 token tip, when she's in the middle of a conversation with a guy who has spent $1000s on them, over the course of time. Yes, you likely won't get a huge response.

Just like if other guys are tipping for action, but you're one of those dudes who wants to ask a lot of questions first, the model is going to follow the money. The guys who are already ready, and decided on what they want. Guy's will be dropping tips, and I'll be in the middle of performing, then some dude comes in and will be like; "Hi I'm Dave from Ontario, I'm 47, how are you doing today?". I'm not going to stop and acknowledge that or respond. Because it's a bit self absorbed on Dave's part, and a total mood killer for the rest of us. The number of people who just arrive, and pay no attention to what is currently happening in the room, is surprisingly high. If nothing was going on in my room, I'd likely respond, but it really depends what is going on already, and my mood.

Thanks for the informative reply with an honest perspective.
You're welcome.

There are a lot of other things that could be happening too. The model could have been quiet a while, and be zoned out, and not have noticed too. Try to listen and see if you hear a bell or anything when you tip.
These days I have to set the sound alerts to go off for tips, or I'll be in another tab zoned out. That could be going on too, which wouldn't be purposeful.

Some newer models may not have their alerts set up, where they even get a sound. It's usually a setting they have to turn on.

Or the model could be multistreaming to several different sites at once, and failed to notice promptly enough. Not everyone uses a browser to combine all the chats into one dialogue box. When I split stream I have to highlight different tabs, and it's easy to miss things, or give delayed responses. Again, not purposeful though.

A thing I see increasingly is guys with so little awareness of what's going on in the room that they actually talk to an empty room (e.g. if the model has nipped away). That and guys who come in, cut and paste some shit, leave and then return 5 minutes later having already forgotten they've already been here. Guys like that are also diluting genuine guys like the OP.

Part of me thinks that is very funny, in it's very stupidity. But another part of me finds it very seriously annoying too.
Idk maybe that Main Character Syndrome thing again.

You reminded me of hard it is to decide on tip amount since I have more than one occurrence of feeling models asking to give more than I feel comfortable with giving.
I live on a fixed income and don’t have much to share . No easy solution . I see both sides I.e. i am not trolling
Thanks again

Regardless of what anyone spends, they're all on a budget, just of differing amounts. Tip and appreciate without expecting whale kind of acknowledgement. Someone the other day said they over tipped a cam model -- noooo such fucking thing. We are worth exactly what you think we are.
