Hello!
I am a Brazilian PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My current research focuses on human-machine intimate relations on sexcam shows, which means that I want to analyze how people are developing presence and intimacy on livestream porn performances
As part of my investigation, I am beginning to gather information so I can broadcast myself, a project that aims at exposing my scientific inquiry and my own intimacies while developing my doctoral dissertation and my ethnographic fieldwork. I want to see what happens when my own intimate moments with science and sexcams become intimate themselves when broadcasted. I am also displaying a private-public journal where I detail all my ethnographic trajectory.
As my focus is on remote-controlled vibrators (like Lovesense Lush), if you would like to participate on my research frop me a line! My idea is to follow some cammers and watch their performances so I can gather data about how intimacy and presence is being created and negotiated during the shows.
