We'd like the AmberCutie community to take a second look at Chaturbate.com. Since our launch there have been many positive changes:
* Earn tips in the form of Tokens. Each one is worth 5cents.
* Private and Group Chat
* Spy Feature (let people spy on your private/group show for tokens but they cant type in chat)
* Share and Sell Picture's/Video's
* Fan Clubs (Charge monthly for all access to pics/vids)

Enhanced Features:
* Block Provinces in Canada- in addition to State Block for U.S.A.
* The ability to Ban even after the unruly member has left your room
* Send an email letting your "Followers" know you’re online
* Chat Filter: Only allow people with tokens to type messages- People who have tipped you today may type messages- People who have tipped at anytime may type messages
*High Definition Webcams are now labeled "HD"

I have never been on Chaturbate. Does the recurring $20 a month give you tokens? Or is it just an extra fee to stay a premium?

You do not have to pay $20 a month to stay premium. You can buy tokens at any time. I have bought tokens without being premium. It's just optional for private messaging. font color, and all that other stuff.

still bogus.. if you tip and have tokens you shouldnt have to "upgrade" your status as long as ur active. one more reason MFC dominates the community.

We quite enjoy chaturbate, beside the few idiots that troll the site (and other sites for that matter) it's a great place for us to go and not worry about our camscores or where we are placed on the page. It's definitely been a favorite place (of mine at least) and there is no shortage of super nice members that really enjoy talking to us and there's definitely a lot more models that are friendly, I can't say I have seen so many friendly models on other websites.

I also like the affiliate links, though 10 tokens seems a bit low. I also like that we sell videos whilst offline quite often!

Also, chaturbate retweets those that tweet at them, which is awesome to get the word out that we are online, since we only have 300 followers as of late.

I definitely like it there and recommend new models to try out camming on their website!

Just joined your site and I have to say it was okay....Just okay though! I don't like how there doesn't seem to be any kind of order on the page....hard to find what I am looking for. Seemed kinda like chaos on the homepage. When I was in the models room, it was great! Except half of my chat wouldn't show up....it kept saying "an error occurred." So I had to retype what I was saying and by the time I did that, it was a moot point! I will say that I really LOVE some of the member controlled policing stuff that is there. Maybe when some of these things are tinkered, the site can flourish.

My 5 cents worth. I've been a member since August last year and referred at least 20 models

1: Get rid of the sleazy advertising banners. It looks cheap and nasty

2: The hourly contest is a waste of time. Money would be better spent on removing the adverts. Or change it to a daily random draw so 20 random models win some $ Daily.

3: Give the Philippines models like Ella20, their 5 cent per token. Even if they only qualify for it once they hit 4000 followers.

The first few days we were on, we win a lot of the 1st and 2nd place contests. We were both pretty excited. In fact, we won 1st place the first hour we were on, with over 2,400 people in our room and gained 1,000 followers the very first day. I like the $5 and $10 prices, it means we have to work harder to win it. :twocents-02cents:

I'd like to see 'grey' members being able to talk if they are promoted to moderator and chat is set to those with tokens only.

Other than that, it has been a very enjoyable place to cam on. The first couple of days there was the usual trolls trying to make the new guys fail, but it just proved humorous. Now, there's a good number of regulars that come back day-to-day and are really nice.

Why? Because that's how MFC does it?

No, because it's polite to let paying customers keep certain basic privileges regardless of how quickly they spend or how often they visit - especially since they can be filtered from chat in a multitude of other ways if they're being obnoxious.

The auto-topic tip counter thing is excellent.

I have some questions...

Supporter and premium... are they the same thing?
Does the recurring membership give me tokens? I know it gives 200 tokens if I upgrade now. But what about the next months?

Businesses don't HAVE to be polite (imo as a customer, it sure doesn't hur tho), but here's the thing - adult entertainment, maybe especially live adult entertainment is about impulse purchasing. You want as little as possible getting between the urges the performers are encouraging, and the act of payment. It doesn't take much to disrupt that, make a customer think twice or piss him off with something tedious and suddenly spending $50 to watch someone masturbate seems like a terrible financial choice.

Some people also react negatively to what they see as a hard-sell.

What if it's something as simple as being able to ask the model a reasonable question? Or have any input at all? Customers aren't robots - and you don't always know which ones are (or WERE) about to get their wallet out until something put them off.

I guess I just think that wherever possible businesses should err on the side of courtesy, remember these aren't undesirables you're trying to weed out - they're customers who've paid previously and you want to continue paying; at whatever pace they like imo - they're always going to be more likely to buy again than someone who simply stays as a guest.

Also, why is it necessary to know who just bought? So you can treat them differently and only talk to the ones who are stocked up? In a business whose major differentiation from free porn is live interaction that is a TERRIBLE idea imo. I'm not saying kiss up to freeloaders but it will only ever help you to come across as genuine and friendly, who wants to spend their time and money on someone who cares more about your tokens than the service she provides you?

About the recurring $20...I get what you're saying about the MFC 20-point premiums (one of them visits my room every time I'm on, and he's so annoying), but Jupiter and SoTxBob make a good point.

Just because a member doesn't buy tokens and tip as frequently as other members doesn't mean that he's useless to the site. Also, for a variety of reasons, there are members who don't log in/visit rooms as often as most do (on MFC you can visit a member's profile to see the date he logged in last). I imagine that some of the married men or single fathers who work 2 - 3 jobs may not even get much privacy to enjoy cam models.

Besides, as a model, I think it'd suck to see a cool premium - who I enjoy chatting with - get dropped just because he went a month without purchasing tokens. I love money, but good conversation is important to me too in a chatroom.

And the premiums who feel bad about not tipping for a while will sometimes send me an offline tip. I hadn't seen one of my MFC tippers/friends in a while, so he recently tipped me 300 tokens offline with a tip note saying "It's been too long since I've seen you. I hope this makes up for my absence."

I payed the $20 so I could PM Mixxi when she was working on that site, I only got tokens the first time they charged me. After that you just get PM rights, which I no longer needed after the reason I signed up there left, so I ended up canceling. Then I was glancing through my credit cards stuff online while I was bored, I was on hold for something, and saw they were still charging me. I had to re-cancel, and I saved my confirmations in case I have to dispute it in the future.

I am not accusing them of being dishonest only having a crappy business model.

Also, it would be cool if the fan club members that are promoted to moderators either kept their green color or got a new one. My best tipper like being green, but also likes moderating for us. I would also LOVE the ability to UNSILENCE someone without having to clear bans, log off, then log back on. Some moderators accidentally silence the wrong person from time to time.

Not concerned about it, I am looking at it as the cost of not keeping better track of my paperwork. I do not think your site did it, I think it was an error by whoever does your processing.

OMG I loved this site, I was on for the first time today and I'm a convert! My main issue was hitting over 2k viewers the lag was unbearable, but I love the hourly contest and the traffic I got!

What works for me is to log off and log back on before a show, but definitely mute the people that either have no tokens or the the ones that just haven't tipped you.

We also use ethernet, that seems to be WAY better. Always choose the quality setting where the bandwidth and framerate says at LEAST good. "Okay" will not work well enough.

We had 2,400 people in the room and were like a flipbook, but our internet was all messed up. Now it is MUCH better. We broadcast on medium and it shows us as HD
